Love that, thanks for posting, and a warm welcome to the forum!Hi all! Been lurking for a long time, and decided to finally register and post on this thread first as it's heart-warming to see all the stories of Forest fandom from all over the world.
I'm 48F. Born, grew up and still living in Piraeus, Greece, home of Olympiacos FC and also known as Marinakisville. I'm an architect and did a MSc course at Nottingham Uni in 2001-02, so I stayed in the city for a year, which I still hold dear and consider one of the best of my whole life. I lived on Holgate Rd in the Meadows and took the bus (lines 6, 7, 10) to the city centre from the Ryehill Street stop on Meadows Way West, which meant that I sat there waiting and gazing at the WFCG every single day. At first, I thought I'd support the underdogs Notts County, but a couple short stints on Football Manager convinced me that they were a bit of a lost cause... And then I started being sympathetic towards Forest. Coming back to Piraeus, I met and then married an avid Oly supporter and turned him into a Forest fan as well, and then suddenly Marinakis (who is also behind the mayor of 12 years here, practically the mayor himself) bought the club, which was like my 2 favourite cities and worlds happily colliding. I've been able to watch almost every Forest game since around 2015 via either cable TV or links, all the ups and (mostly) downs, and this season feels like a dream, obvs.
So, hi from another Greek supporter! You guys should also know that there's a small but extremely dedicated NFFC fan club here.
Now we know you’re talking about Zurich & not Gedling. Gedling was never beautiful, but is getting increasingly dump like every time I drive through.A beautiful city, one of my favourite „visits“!
€9 for a cup of coffee made me blink, though!
You need to post more often!Hi all! Been lurking for a long time, and decided to finally register and post on this thread first as it's heart-warming to see all the stories of Forest fandom from all over the world.

Yup, that's exactly the idea!I hope that you and your husband get to come over for a game or two. Maybe revisit the old neighbourhood too.
Have fun!So I've posted my current and past home details on here before.
However, I've just sold/packed up everything and am off for about a year.
Vague plan is mainly South East Asia with possibly visits to India and Africa.
I'm currently in Phuket for the first month.
How long do I need to stay in one spot to get a dot on the map?[emoji41]![]()

The reach of the LTLF forum continues to spread far and wide!!!
@Rockabilly has become our ambassador in Durham, North Carolina, USA!
He’s had a message asking for permission to use a picture of one of his flags to advertise Nottingham Forest in The Federal Bar & Grill.![]()
Sod off yer ruddy Mackem!!!!!

Was about to get on my high horse then realised Oakham was probably in Leicestershire when you left. From Oakham Leicestershire, been in Auckland NZ for past 27 years.
Used to watch games from the old Trent End Shed till they upgraded and I moved to B Block. Then I moved to London where I mainly watched away games (back when you could still just rock up at the turnstiles) until I ultimately gave up on mother England and headed to this little rock floating around the South Pacific. Been to one league game since abandoning ship, back in the L1 days, first time in the old Exec stand. I don't come back much and when I do it's summer break time.
je would love to meet others fans here and share this fresh love for Forest![]()
