Just going by what I saw in the final, I wouldn't bother. While the own goal was unlucky, I thought he shat himself every time Brennan or Spence pressed him. There were a few Huddersfield players I would take but he wasn't one of them.

Mbe Soh has suffered from injury problems since joining us and really needs a loan spell to get some regular football IMO.

Our back three is also lacking in pace, so we will need someone quicker alongside Worrall and McKenna next season.

I don't think Colwill is the answer though, nor Rodon for that matter. Niakhate looks like he would have fitted the bill but that deal looks dead in the water now.

I’m really intrigued to see what a full preseason under Cooper will do for both. I can see them being our primary back ups at CB given the 9 man bench.

I do think we could do with another addition, as there were times I thought our CBs rightly pressed their man to the middle third but didn’t have the athleticism to get back.

As you say though we have a few youngsters who may be worth a look at pre season first before we grab someone in their spot like Rodon or Colwill (unless there is such a clear upgrade at good value available *cough* Niakhate please *cough*)

I think this part is a bit of a myth tbh and I've seen a few people say similar, he had injury issues last season of course but the season before (his first season) he wasn't injured at all, he was on the bench almost every game. I agree he should probably go on loan to get regular football though, only reason I could see him sticking around is that he wouldnt need to be registered in the 25 to play.
