Leaders of Men....

Dude.

Youth Team
.....now is the time to stand up and be counted.

Not one single Forest fan can deny that the club is in deep crisis at the moment. We are not even a quarter or the way through the season and yet we find ourselves rooted firmly on the bottom of footballs second tier, 5 points from safety and looking more like a team that could go on a record breaking losing streak than one capable of reversing our fortunes.

This is the time for strong characters. Natural leaders that can raise the game of those around them with there own enthusiasm and never say die attitude.

Yet the City Ground seems a graveyard for people with the will to win at all costs. A playing staff that seem more than happy to wait for pay day to come round rather than earn it, and have done for to many years now.  A manager that still insists he is certain we can turn things around, yet he portrays a man way out of his depth and unable to turn round in an empty carpark. A chairman that seemingly takes "lack of interference" to new levels. You know things are bad when he eventually speaks out in public in a desperate attempt to reassure worried supporters.

Where is our saviour? A player on the pitch that bursts a blood vessel when we concede a sloppy goal. I want a defender to throw him self in front of attackers feet and turn round to his team mates and demand the same commitment. Someone to line a wall up and yell to those around him "keep this ball out of that fukcing goal no matter how much it fukcing hurts" I want every player on the pitch to show the same commitment to winning.

I want a manager on the touchline that sends out his best available players week in and week out with one aim only, to win that football match. If things are not going to plan I want our manager to know how to remedy the situation and put it right. I want our manager to show the same passion to win as the players he picks, not someone who stands around with his hands in his pockets hoping for answers to drift into his head by themselves.

It seems to me that the people that have this winning mentality have it removed when they walk through the dressing room door. Players like Neil Lennon and Andy Cole seem to just accept the mediocrity around them rather than insist they raise there game to there own high standards.

"Its a confidence thing" people say. "Get a win under our belts and the results will come" they say. Bo11ocks. Results will come to those that want them badly enough. Those that are prepared to fight for them week in, week out.

So then Forest, do you want to win or not?

So bring back Psycho and make Winston Churchill the manager. That should do it.
