Whilst I agree it’s frustrating leaving things late unfortunately it’s just where we are in the food chain. I think it’s highly likely the later in the window we go spurs my try and sign a striker and need the money for bergvall and Chelsea will want rid of delap etc etc. sometimes those deals aren’t available to be done until later in the window.

Just finished watching his and Casado lads YouTube reels. Again very misleading as everyone looks world class on YouTube.
Going by what I’ve watched, both definitely have similar attributes good at tackling good forward passes… Camara’s goals scored edge it for me though. Can defo hit them from outside the box. Though Casado is apparently half the price which would potentially give us more spending money on a striker if needed.
If we were to sign Camara, which I’m doubtful looking at who else is supposedly interested, I’d be more than happy to hold off on striker and let Jesus, Wood and Kali fight it out for the spot.

Multi-quote thing isn't working but the messages above about lack of pace and progression were my worries for the midfield this summer and I wasn't massively convinced signing Bergvall would've solved any of that.

The lad Danois from Auxerre has pace. I think I described him on here the other day as a Danilo/Anderson hybrid.
Not one person, bar Glasner, thinks Mcatee can be the answer in a 2 man midfield. We need presence and dynamism. Plenty on here were advocating the Sangare that Brentford got (were we even looking with £££'s in the bank and an Anderson size hole in CM)!!.....I've not seen this Camara play to be honest, is he the same type of player as him that have seen him play.....?
