Remember him playing regularly in some classic Spurs v Forest games too.

Was a good manager too. Just led Orient back to the Football League after doing the same with Newport.

Really sad.

He’s 11 older than me but when I was a kid he always seemed the young man in that spurs team. Like someone said earlier I always thought he was a twat but players were proper characters back then and could give it and take it. Was apparently a great bloke.
