Joseph Adrian Worrall (The Club Captain!)

Probably one of my favourite players ever. Saying "shite" live on sky sports somehow still my favourite thing he's done.

He's just a lad from Hucknall who speaks his mind, no/little media training which is brilliant for us fans.

Serial comedians West Ham Zone are claiming that Steve Cooper has "confirmed" that Wozza will not be offered any contract negotiation following promotion citing only a 3 month old article from fellow claret and blue clowns "Claret and Hugh" as evidence (yes the same imbeciles that claimed they were going to sign him for £8M back in January.

I saw this morning that Worrall and McKenna are in line for new deals. Can't remember where I saw it now but I'll link if I find it.

I mean I would not begrudge Joe his chance in the Prem, or to kick on and play for a really big club and get himself called up to the England squad but why would he leave his boyhood club now he has the chance to play in the Prem with Forest?

Yeah I’m sure the lad who grew up a Forest fan, became a professional here and then Captained the team to promotion will leave to go to West Ham before playing for his club in the premier league.

Surely they don’t believe the shit they’ve wrote?

I saw that earlier and laughed.

All Worrall talks about is Forest. When he went to Rangers on loan, they said all he talked about was Forest and how much he wanted to go back.

I’m laughing as I say this because ultimately I know sweet f*** all, however…..if I had spent my youth career at any given football club and had helped that club to gain promotion to the Premier League, I am pretty certain that I would want at least one season with that club in the top flight, rather than jumping ship for a bit of extra cash.

I honestly believe if we stay up and end up a decent premier league team Joe will stay with us for the long haul. No offence to Joe but I doubt the ‘big 6’ will be interested in him so why leave to go to a mid table side when Forest could be a mid table side?

Look at this and tell me that he isn't loving this moment.

If Worrall leaves before getting the chance to captain his boyhood club for at least one season in the Premier League, I'll eat my own cock and post the video of me doing it onto YouTube.

I don't think theres much that would surprise me more than Worrall leaving the club this summer

No way will Worrall be leaving Forest now we've been promoted. He's always said he wants to play for Forest in the Premier League and now he will do. He's the one player I 100% to be here next season.

Nobody will leave, they are living what they have dreamed about their entire lives.

I also don't think anybody will pay enough for Worrall for us to think about selling him now. He was only an option because we were a Championship team. Now, selling for 10-12m is a waste of our time.

Love him in interview and u can see and hear the hurt that him and club have experienced in his voice and genuine joy that promotion has brought. Be interesting to see how Cooper adapts tactics to suit premier league and step up on quality. 3 at back can expose us-Worral can be dragged so far wide that he’s left exposed and has been beaten for pace. Similar cud happen on other side. I am sure Cooper will resolve it.

will be a hugh challenge for worrall and the defence in general in the premier league. 37 year old ronaldo would still be quicker than our defenders.

Not after Scott McKenna gets an early reducer in on him, he f***ing won’t.

Not sure why people think our defence isn't up to much we played 3 prem teams this season and beat 2 and only narrowly lost to the Champions League Finalists and FA Cup winners.

The big question is will he sign a new contract if offered. And that's the same for Brennan, because staying for a year to try it out and then leaving on the cheap doesn't help the club one bit.
Both of them need to pen new contracts or extensions and protect the club.

Yeah, I wouldn't touch our defence personally.

Guessing but I would say we conceded the least shots on target since Cooper has come in, and we play very attacking football. Our defenders block & head everything. Our keepers aren't bad either.

Most weeks the keeper has had nothing to do this season, and in games where they have been really tested like the Sheff Utd second leg Samba stood tall.
