I have heard very few legit links of us actually been in for him, it just seemed to be some putting 2 and 2 together once we got promoted. Besides Bournemouth have actually have been pursuing him since January so would expect them to be going full throttle for him again

Interest was reported in Jan, so he’s just putting 2 and 2 together. He posts about 100 articles a summer and never gets any of them right. Genuinely believe he has no contacts whatsoever and just sits at home making up possible transfers.
He’s probably worked out that inventing a new rumour gets more clicks than repeating an established one and most of the people who eat up his content just want rumours; they don’t actually care whether there’s any truth in it.

John Percy said we were interested in early May, but nothing recently as far as I can recall. Perhaps our targets have changed though.
I have a long-standing interest in an intimate dinner with Claudia Schiffer; I am not sure anything will come of that, either.

Our transfer business so far has shown that we have no problem attracting players to the club. I'm pretty sure we'd have gotten Rothwell if we really wanted him.
