Cook played just shy of 170 prem games for Bournemouth during a 5 year stint which only ended a year ago. Cook will have no issues, links to Rodon, Goldson etc.. is to add, not replace. We'll need 2 players for each position, so likely will want 6 defenders, with Panzo, Mbe Soh sent out on loan.

Spurs paid 11m for him (maybe that was including add-ons) and Conte doesn’t want him.

Also is still young and could get better so definitely in the permanent category for me.

Loan deals should be for players whose wages we can’t afford for me. So we can get a 120k a week player for 60k a week.

I recall watching him play a few times and his mobility seemed very good. AS he is a ball playing center half I would say he is exactly the type of player we need between Worrall and McKenna. Cook and Panzo should be able to provide the adequate cover/rotation options. I would speculate this guy would help solve one key problem. Rodon looks a near perfect fit.

I suspect if we get Rodon were buying him, not loaning him.
