Is he more of a central midfielder or a number 10?

He has really good numbers. Plays a lot of games. Good age. Full international.

Another with a really perfect profile.

Based on this he is exactly what we target in players, especially the last bit.

Aribo is a versatile player who can play centrally or in a wide midfield role. Technically proficient, he is able to use his long legs to shield the ball from opponents effectively. Speaking in October 2016, he said that his strengths were "driving with the ball and getting up the pitch"

Yeah been talking about that this morning. I always thought of him as a box to box but he played a bit further up last season a fair amount.

This is last season:

Could be one to play in games where we need to pack the midfield, almost as a false number 10 and dropping back when we need with MGW further forward. Games that we don't could play as an 8? Nice versatility whatever way you look at it.

GERRIM IN!

I'd probably say he's an alternative option to Maitland-Niles perhaps, considering the ball carrying ability. Aribo is also left footed which adds nice balance to the midfield.

I wasn't that bothered about going up, it would have been nice but this summer is like watching someone play football manager.

I think it's the first time I have seen Forest have proper pulling power since I have supported them. I am like a giddy child. Can't wait to see what this season brings, this summer is going to slow!
