Don't forget this.

From Super Cooper
"Jesse is a really likeable guy and loves his football, he's very interested in tactics and training," he said.

"I understand there will be a lot of questions about him but we're really enjoying working with him.

"I learned quickly at Swansea to make your own mind up on players and never listen to perceptions, I judge a player as I find them.

"We are very happy with Jesse and how he's settled in, it feels like he's been here longer than he has been, which has only been a few weeks.

"We're really enjoying having him around and pushing him to be at his best. When he's at his best he will be a really important player for us."

He has also been giving lifts to the young lads to training

I was not impressed; you can see his quality in the little things (some touches, how he spots a good pass), but his somewhat casual style was a bit offsetting.

Seems a bit meh with attitude and then slots a pass beyond the the rest of the teams football intelligence, seems to lack a bit of sharpness.

He has to prove the world outside Forest wrong

He doesn't have to prove anyone wrong, he just has to play his game his way.

Lingard isn't fully fit, he has had no preseason and will struggle and now we have players that we can swap for him he will get better.

GAFF LAD. "Open your knees and feel the breeze"
He'll be alreet when he's up to speed. At this moment, he'll be the party animal in that dressing room, and loving every minute of it.

Hope nobody's not stupid enough to right him off.

You could see he was completely knackered at match end today. He's still not match fit, for sure. I don't see him starting when we play teams like Chelsea and Citeh away. But he's going to be a valuable part of our attacking schemata in the vast majority of our games.

I didn't think his judgement on when/where to use his energy reserves was great. Covered a lot of ground trying to get to contests he was never going to reach, but then sometimes out of gas when the ball was there to be won / used.

Like everyone, he'll take some time to find not just fitness, but also how to fit into our ball movement and setups.

I thought he was good, worked really hard, a few quality touches and this is a guy who has barely played for 18 months. It excites me.
I thought he was good too tbh. Not sure where the levels of expectations come from for him. 80k might be a lot for Forest, but he's a free transfer on what's basically an average Premier league wage who worked his arse off snd was involved in our best moments.

There was a moment in the second half where he was fouled and the ref didn't give a free kick. Lingard sat on the floor shouting at the ref. Cooper told him to get up and chase the ball. He did just that and won it back.

Thought he pointed to deano where the penalty was going today. Did anyone else see? I said to me friend he'd save this then - and he did.

He shouldn't need telling. His first thought should have been to get up and try and win the ball back instead of whining to the ref.
