It's a long shot but definitely seems like we're trying for him. I think Leicester would only go for him if they lose Maddison or Tielemans
I read he was their primary target, though appreciate they might need to sell before they buy. Think you're right that we are trying, he just seems like one that might be out of our reach.

I'd hope we can find a space for Garner regardless of other targets if he's available - he's one of us now. Maybe that loan to buy would be well used on him?

The lad must be well fed up sat on the bench watching this bunch of crap picked in front of him
Problem is that the more crap they are the more chance there is of him starting and if he plays like we know he can we can wave our chances of ever getting him back goodbye.

The pressure on man Utd and manager is now huge - Liverpool next! They need top notch quality and quick. There is no way that the answer to their engrained slump is Garner. Fans will not accept it and noise will be louder and louder. Its whether we now want him, or prepared to meet what utd will want.

Garner isn't the answer for MU, but I'd say there is no single player who can tackle the mess they are in. On that basis my guess is Ten Haag and his recruitment team will be focused fully on incomings and sadly Garners position will be row Z on the priorities. I could see them sanctioning a loan somewhere as a holding position but I doubt they will sell at the moment.
For all I loathe Manchester United, I feel sorry for the new manager-to walk into this shit show is almost too much and if I were him I'd be considering bale-ing rather than having to deal with this crap, none of which is of his making. On a wider note I doubt they can get back where they think they are entitled without changing owners, but shifting people like the Glazers against their will will be very difficult indeed....

This lad needs to be demanding a transfer tomorrow morning.
I would love him at Forest, but would just be happy to see him play anywhere as long as he gets regular football.

He is a grade A Championship player, and should almost certainly be getting minutes in the Prem, if not a regular starter.
He has real potential and it's gonna be a total shitter to see it wasted at Man U.

Said in another thread (so excuse the repetition) that I wonder if we'll see a move for Garner in January, so he's had sufficient time to mout a break through at United.

I'd be demanding a place in their starting lineup after that mess.
I don't understand how they could refuse.

I'm not sure their current mess is the best showcase fir anyone's talents, though he has to turn it around at some point.

I am sure that a) the player was your first choice for the midfield; b) the player made a conscious choice to try to stay at ManUnited. I don't think you would target a legion of midfielders if you were still interested in Garner.

Half the problem at Manure is players "demanding" shit.
They need to get on with it more, work harder and listen to the coach.
Particularly the ones who haven't played in the Prem....
