It’s ADIDAS (again!) and KAIYUN SPORTS not MACRON, not BOXT, or UNHCR

Where's me hammer?
Re: New kit supplier ,MACRON ?

My lads saturday team has a nike kit. The sunday team has a joma kit.

They get some right hammer and are brought to last two years. We are coming to the end of the two years in the summer. The nike kit has already been replaced and the joma you could have another few seasons out of it.

Nike quality is poor.

Re: New kit supplier ,MACRON ?

You only ever saw Under Armour in the US until recently. They’re obviously a growing company.

I pay quite close attention to the market as I've got some clothing manufacture clients, and Under Armour are really struggling atm as they've put insane amounts of money into marketing/sponsorship/sync deals and aren't really recouping their investment.

Be interesting if they continue trying to force their way into the 'soccer' market or stick with their core basketball/baseball demographics.

Chuck some money at Paul Smith and get him to do ours exclusively.

On Caveman Ninja's international football shirts thread, an England shirt designed by Paul Smith was pictured and to me it looked very unimpressive and rather ordinary.

So I vote we don't chuck any money at him. Chuck some in my direction. After all, designing a football shirt can't be that hard.

Totally, it was mega dull.

Italy's 2006 kit that they won the World Cup in was designed by a guy who had worked for Gucci and Prada, Neil Barratt. It's actually got his name printed in very small letters on the side of the kit. Nice shirt too: http://www.oldfootballshirts.com/en/teams/i/italy/old-italy-football-shirt-s3871.html

Re: New kit supplier ,MACRON ?

When it comes to a club kit it has to be something we, the supporters, will feel happy / comfortable in wearing.

So perhaps some sort of straight jacket design is in order?

The way they play at times, we'd be just as well off with 'boob tubes' and ballet tights. These are also easy to wash and comfortable to wear. So a friend tells me anyway.

I know it doesn't really matter what's on the outside, it's what's on the inside that counts...yada yada yada
But I'm going to make one thing very very clear about this whole Macron nonsense; I'd rather take a bed sheet that's been stuck in my Grans airing cupboard for 40 years, smear it in dog shit, find a baby to puke on it, leave it outside in the sun for a month, colour it in with red crayola and melted hubby bubba whilst I force Robbie Savage at gun point to milk off a brigade of horny rats onto whatever fabric is left. Then Tom Parish the 88 year-old Nottingham Forest Tea Boy can tear up the rancid remains and distribute it around the first team as the entire 1980 European Cup winning team look on.

Matty Cash will try and style it out, but generally it won't go down well.

Re: New kit supplier ,MACRON ?

Just announced: Macron new kit supplier from next season.

“Nottingham Forest have today announced the biggest sponsorship agreement in the club’s history with the news that Macron will become official kit and training wear partner from the start of the 2018-19 season.

Macron, which has its Global Headquarters in Bologna, Italy, is continuously strengthening its reputation as a major player in the technical sportswear market having recently risen to third place in the UEFA technical sponsorship rankings. In recent years, the brand has formed partnerships with some of Europe's leading clubs, including Lazio, Sporting Lisbon, Nice and Real Sociedad. Nottingham Forest will now join the brand as a tier-one club.

As well as the significant financial benefit to the club, the long-term partnership with Macron will see a fully bespoke range of playing kits and training wear created. This is the first time Forest fans will benefit from a technical kit partner, supplying such a tailored range of apparel.”
