It’s ADIDAS (again!) and KAIYUN SPORTS not MACRON, not BOXT, or UNHCR

I didn't know that but it makes sense to have a mimnium.
This is how teams get away with these one-off „European Competition“ kits, because all the European competitions have group stages now, so it’s easy.

If the yellow shirt's sleeves had the detailing on a colour other than blue (eg different shade of yellow, or grey for example) so that it doesn't look green from a distance (like a Norwich yo-yo shirt) then all three would be stone cold classics.

Goddamit, I just know when I’ve had a few Biers, I’m going to end up ordering a third shirt with „Mangala 5“ on the back, and paying the shipping, and duty, to get it here to Germany.

Curse my lack of self-control.
I wondered how long you'd wait for a Magala shirt.

They get away with it because they know that mugs will keep on buying them

It'll be a cold day in hell before I stump up 60 notes for a poor quality shirt that becomes last years design in 10 months

The whole 3 x per season replica kit is a disgraceful rip off

Has he singed yet?

I think ultimately this is the reason I'm not a fan. Nice idea, but the 'green' effect really puts me off it.

Indeed so. There was never a perceived colour clash previously, and there shouldn't be one now.
It's not actually as simple as that - red and orange is mentioned as one of the worst combos in terms of colour blindness according to UEFA documentation, which isn't a factor that used to be taken into account but there has been growing awareness of in the last couple of seasons. Rightfully so, given it affects one in twelve men, apparently, and one in two hundred women...

I had the 3rd kit arrive yesterday. It's much tighter than I was expecting....

Crazy that there are so many kits out of stock at the online shop. Don’t they want my money?

I remember something about the players saying they couldn't see each other on the pitch. I also have a hazy memory of there being a televised game where they wore it...

I have a reflection that we wore it just before once in preseason, for some reason It's attached to Ipswich

Or did we wear it in a League Cup game in 91 season, Bolton away?

Can't confirm the team but I think you're correct. I seem to remember it was only ever worn for a preseason game.

Everton has exactly the same design kit that season too

of course, there is a global supply issue of football shirts (amongst other things) which has been reported in the media, due mainly to certain places still persisting Canute-style with a zero-covid approach which is causing factories etc to close for periods of time, reducing their productivity.

As we don't have a sponsor yet, I wouldn't really be expecting the club to push this either until they can get a batch in with sponsors already attached, for those who want it of course (I still think this should be optional, but won't be ordering until they have them so I don't need to drop in with shirts afterwards).

They're also probably proritising the vast amount of returns that they've had...
