Super Koopa
a lot of moaning going on

i'm not SC holder so can't have a Away Membership.

I went to loats of away matches last season.

Where's my entitlement? :ROFLMAO::sick:🤑🦴🫂⛑️

I've been a season ticket holder for over 30 years (travelling an hour each way as well). I've been to f*** knows how away games in that time (I'd guess around 150) including many during the L1 years. We struggle to make away games now due to life and all that, but still try and do 1 or 2 a season.

If I want to try and get an away membership, why the f*** shouldn't I? I'd love to try and get to 2 or 3 grounds I've not been to. But if I don't, I won't cry about it as I understand how limited it is.

Like with the home tickets, it wasn't that long ago you could decide last minute to make a dash for an away game and get in no problem.

To give the club over £200k ( away memberships only ) in return for a CHANCE to possibly buy away tickets?
Why - I ask myself - does the club have to charge anything?
200K which is 2 weeks of Hendos wages. I’m not calling him with that comment but just to put it in perspective.

I live in London and went to around 10 games last year home and away (didn't have membership). But the thought of not being able to go to a single home game next season without home membership is a bit horrifying. I personally don't think the silver / bronze tier membership are necessary at all as it's just going to exclude a large number of people for the whole season.

I'd consider travelling to Nottingham next week and stand in the queue if that gives me a better chance of securing home membership. Even if it means just getting the chance to go to the odd non-stellar fixture.

Does anyone have any insight as to what would increase my chances, buying online vs physically going to the ground.

Thanks!

Ive just Renewed my away membership for £40 same as last year.

Stumbled on it via Online site, while buying Burton and Barnsley tickets.

Didn't get an email to remind me. I assume priority plus membership is the same as away ST holder last season.

Any info welcome

I know it’s slightly the wrong thread but I bought my first ever season ticket last year after following Forest since 1966.

I couldn’t afford to renew it when they had the offer about Easter time, and thought I’ll just wait until the end of the season and renew it then, even If it costs me a bit more.

But I’ve heard nothing from Forest ( they were emailing me almost hourly towards the end of last season) but since then nothing.

Does that mean I’ve lost my chance to renew, or haven’t they got round to renewing them yet?

Sorry for putting in wrong thread but would be grateful if anyone could give me any info.

If you have Priority Plus - as opposed to Priority One - you are one of 400 fans guaranteed a ticket at every away game.
Nice one 👏

I fear your chance has gone.
Never say never. Ring em again - but your chances look to be remote I’m afraid.

I understand that people who travelled away a lot last season would be upset, but in reality Forest need to be doing as much as they can to open up the possibility of tickets to as many people as possible, thats how the club is going to continue to grow, not just the same people going to every game, its great wearing that badge of honour “i went to watch Forest away 16 times last season” etc, well not everyone can afford to go to every away game, they deserve the chance to see their team, and not be completely shut out (like it was last season)

I’ll be interested if anyone has a view on this as well. I cud potentially go down and que but difficult to know if On line wud be provide the best opportunity to getting one.

So I have a question. I'm an away member but went to around 8/9 away games last season. Quite annoyed that it's being opened up to ST holders who may have not been to a single away game last season. It really should've had a 3rd tier for priority. So my question is - if you're unlucky to not grab a Newcastle ticket, will that mean at the very start of the season you'll then be behind everyone who managed to get a ticket in loyalty points and therefore massively reducing the chance for even future away games throughout the season?

I guess they can still use the booking history rule next week though as stated:

Apologies I have reviewed and it's priority one...Where does that leave e for away tickets next year?

Free for all with 4599 others.
I think that's not so bad. If there's 2600 away tickets left after the 400 Spartans claim theirs, then you'd expect that everyone in the 4600 group will get to go to some away games but not all as the bunfight averages out over the season. Seems a decent way of dealing with much more demand than supply.

The cub scrap loyalty but then extend loyalty to a very select few. So now we have 400 "super fans" who will aways get an away ticket, the other 4600 have paid to enter what it basically a raffle. We now have a 56% chance of gettting a ticket, with no forward planning available, until we have actually got that match ticket.
We just have to suck up this new system and see how it goes. Hopefully, all the away tickets will be available, and not some put aside for supporters clubs, people who know someone, celebrities etc!

I do feel the club have tried to find a fair way to give as many fans as possible the chance to go to attend away games this season.

I feel it’s only right that as many fans as possible should get the chance to see us play away from home.

Having a closed 3000 members club which some seem to think we should have would not be fair and would create an exclusive club of supporters that would shut out the rest of the fan base. That would not be fair.

I commend people who went to lots of away games last year in a promotion winning season. But let’s be honest other than Derby away over the last 20 years most of us have had no trouble getting tickets for most away games.

Now we are in the Premier League everyone wants to be apart of the experience. Forest have to try and get as many people as possible involved which is what they are trying to do.

A very good point.
I seem to remember we had an allocation of over 3,000 for the play-off game at Sheffield United last season, but none reached season card level despite the away membership being 2,500!

I think players and staff at the club rightly get an allocation of tickets for friends and family don’t think we can begrudge that. Sponsors will also get tickets that’s how it has always worked. In the past demand will not have been super high given our on field performances.

Now just as demand from our fan base will increase I am sure players friends and family ticket and sponsor tickets demand will increase.

On your first point-I think the 56% chance is correct in theory mathematically but will be higher in reality.
Of the 4,600 eligible members not all of them will apply for any given game-I reckon a drop off of 10/15%
might happen, thereby leaving 4,000 members chasing 2,600 tickets(this could be more if the allocation is
over 3,000 which might be the case at some grounds).
I think the true chances are more like 65/68%-if as you say, tickets are not siphoned off for WAGS and
supporters clubs etc.
The new system will certainly make it much harder to obtain tickets for high demand fixtures e.g Leicester,
although Brighton in midweek should be less of a problem.

I bet it will! Although these people will disappear more quickly than a rat up a drainpipe as soon as we
show any sign of a slump.
