I'm still here Crewton
Problem is... that's not even the case! I had tickets in my basket, assigned them to the away members, proceeded to checkout, selected payment method, then it told me they had been released! Despite there supposedly being a timeframe when tickets in basket are reserved for before being released. Shambles.
Yep, same here. Once allocated there should be no way they are released back until the set timescale to complete has elapsed.

I could keep getting one ticket in the basket, but never let me pick more than one, which is frustrating when I wanted 4.
Well I bought the one in the hope I might be able to get one multiple times, but no! So I'm either off there on me tod or selling it

Worst thing is if you're not lucky in the weekly error lottery of getting a ticket. x3 times, then say bye-bye to your away membership!
Looking forward to 30 minutes of frantic refreshing and frustration every other week!

I just find it bizarre that so few of us had any success. Even with the 5,000 members, there were supposedly around 3,000 up for grabs. You'd have thought we would have at least a 1 in 2 hit rate, but that just doesn't seem to be the case.
Exactly, another few weeks like this and I will call it a day, I can’t be bothered losing hair over this every ten days.

My heart and hairline can’t take the stress.

This is why if they don't sort out this system they need to do a randomised draw for members every week and guarentee everyone has the opportunity to attend 3 games at least.
Absolutely, 100% behind the idea. I couldn't care less which away days I go too, as long as I can attend some.

Yep. If they were insisting on selling more memberships than tickets available they should have run a Wimbledon (tennis) system - you get offered a ticket for certain (randomly allocated) games and you can either take them or leave them.
Not a bad idea-at least it avoids a rugby scrum for each away game.

They had a procedure ready during covid for if the ground opened with reduced capacity.

They said "apply for a ticket for a game. If you are unsuccessful in the first game's ballot, you will have priority for the next game's ballot"

So they had SOMETHING that would probably have worked - maybe they could implement this with the current ticket membership priority shitshow.

They've created a problem where no problem previously existed and no problem needs to exist.

Right so there's about 10-15 of us trying for tickets here and the best result someone has managed is one ticket from the four he wanted.

Anyone else seeing "Available to:" with blank next to it? Might explain why no one can find tickets:

Usually when it's sold out it says sold out...

Also the coach tickets were definitely on sale at 10AM and there's no way in hell those also sold out in 10 minutes.

Something similar definitely happened when the away memberships went on sale, so perhaps there are some still to be released.

Wishful thinking, but given the shitshow so far it's the best we can hope for.

Terrible ain’t it, yet again I’m going to moan about selling 5000 away memberships as it’s f**ked the whole thing up.

If the club was adamant on doing it they need a competent ticketing operation which we have never had.
I afraid this shambles was inevitable after the club decided to sell too many away memberships-which
effectively means the away members who followed us in the bad times are now being forced to join the
bandwagon brigade every time away tickets go on sale.

100% agree.

Forza Garibaldi are yet again moaning to club on behalf of fans. I imagine it will end up being a waste of time as nothing will change.

If god forbid we do get relegated id wager a lot of money that I have no problems in getting away tickets just like the last 15 years I’ve been going away.

I don't actually think selling more memberships than available tickets was a terrible idea, I've come round to it somewhat.

But the leaving it to a free-for-all each time is definitely problematic. It's causing everyone stress and wasting thousands of hours of peoples time, and causing a lot of bad feelings towards the club which all could be easily mitigated just be pre-allocation of games to away members on a random basis. There'll be complaints of course, but people will move on quickly, the current system guarantees complaints every other week.

Yep.. there's a bloke I know who hasn't had a season ticket since the late 90s and attended a handful of games last 10 years. Yet he's in the away end on Saturday. One of his mates couldn't go so he's using his reference. It's just something we have to get use too even as annoying as it is. Forest clearly need to address this shambolic system and make it fair in some way.

Or is it just that ticketmaster website is shit ?

They're supposed to be handling all this.

Haych

John Robertson
I just read the guy who is head of ticketing operations or whatever is ex Man U, which would make sense as their ticketing decisions have been shambolic for ages and don’t give a f*** about the fan base.

This club do make it hard to love em at times.

For the previous 8 (completed) seasons, myself and my eldest had easily attended 80% of away matches, and the younger two had for 5 seasons. But certain events put a spanner in the works for last season so we've had to settle for priority one away membership. There's absolutely no chance of getting promoted to priority plus at this rate.

This is an absolutely legit grievance Forza are airing here, and - yet again - the silence from the club is deafening.

It really isn‘t good enough, we all know it, and it is about time the club stepped-up and took responsibility for this shambles. They made the decision to employ Ticketmaster, they are responsible for providing and supporting the ticketing platform and fixing whatever is wrong with it.

They have already had so much feedback about ticketing problems and done nothing about it.
