I think he'll get better and better - he's not flashy but does the important stuff well, and as we saw yesterday is already adjusting to the step up. Yesterday will do him the world of good too, and with O'Brien doing his best to cement a slot and coops liking partnerships, he may well get the chance to establish himself now. Good lad.

Back when we first looked at him, he was described as an intelligent player. I think he'll bring that to the job.

I'll eat my share of humble pie. I judged the fella too early. Didn't think he was good enough to start at this level.

I was wrong.

He was suffocated somewhat at Newcastle. Yesterday gave him a chance to express himself more. Not only did he link up well with Awoyini, but kept a class player in Bowen pretty much out of the game. I'm a lot less worried about the LWB position now.

Lots of eyebrows raised when he came, but don't think anyone needs to eat any pie/word plates - what the doubters (of individual players brought in) have to learn is that our mgmt team know what they are doing. So refreshing after all the years of dross.

Played well and started to show signs of what the Huddersfield fans said about him being good going forward.

Settling in nicely and will be fine, you could see his confidence growing the longer the game went on

Toffolo played really well yesterday as well, yes he was roobish last week but most players were and he didnt get much help. However this week he showed his qualities and I am pleased for him.

Richards will have a battle on his hands to dislodge him from the starting eleven, if Toff puts in a few more performances like yesterday.

No need for another LWB.
Yep. He was brought in as second choice, but more performances like yesterday and there will definitely be a selection dilemma once Richards returns from injury. Exactly the sort of performance I wanted to see from Toff.

He was fine against Newcastle, but yesterday hopefully showed the doubters. I always thought he'd turn out a decent signing. Hope we don't bring in another LWB - if he ends up relegated to the bench because he's unfashionable it would be a real waste of a decent player...

Was a no brainer at 2.5m, actually both the Huddersfield lads look like bargains of the season already. I am sure plenty more will join this list as the season goes on.

I thought he looked like a player with a point to prove yesterday, in so far that considering his career-path he possibly thought he'd struggle to get the opportunity to perform at the highest level. Obviously, there's no guarantee he'll maintain the required standards, but nevertheless I always find it encouraging when players who to some degree have been written-off because of perceived limitations grasp opportunities that come their way through sheer hunger and desire. Wes Morgan is the perfect example.

Is he injured or simply way down in the pecking order?

Lodi & Richards will be our 2 left backs with Nico as well.

I will be surprised if he plays for us again, ironically the Richard's injury actually wrecked any chances he had here simply because we had to sign another good level LB.
