Well, Sunderland, in a footballing sense, would be about the right move for him, but there is always the issue of moving which isn't often considered with footballers. He lives near me and looks very settled in Nottingham.
Would have thought it'd take a massive offer to up sticks and move his kids out of school and go to Rangers or Sunderland. Ideally he finds a good club and contract within a 90 min drive max.
Any Championship club looking to challenge for promotion or even one of the clubs recently promoted to the Premier League would be lucky to have him.I love Toff as a player and team squad member and he’s hugely valued and respected by everyone at Forest.
He has also done some great off-the-pitch work for the mental health programme Tricky to Talk which I hope he continues with in some way, shape or form.
He’s made a great contribution to our success in the Premier League and he will certainly be an asset wherever he goes.
A Coops and Toff reunion at Boro could work. In fact Coops could get some of the old band back together up there.I always felt like with him in the team we would get 100% from him. I'll always remember that goal away at Wolves when Coops was nearing the exit.
Seems like a lovely guy too. All the best to him.

His father is Italian, from Venice I believe.Everytime I see his name I wonder if the Stefano is connected to Alfredo di Stefano. Perhaps his dad or mum was a fan?
I’m all choked up reading that - fantastic words from a fantastic player and person who will be missed.
