He lives near me and looks very settled in Nottingham.

Would have thought it'd take a massive offer to up sticks and move his kids out of school and go to Rangers or Sunderland. Ideally he finds a good club and contract within a 90 min drive max.
Well, Sunderland, in a footballing sense, would be about the right move for him, but there is always the issue of moving which isn't often considered with footballers.

I know it was mentioned on here that Jack Colback moved here when he was on loan and when he had the season back at Newcastle before we bought him permanently, he stayed in the area. When they have school age kids, it is an extra thing to think of with uprooting them.

I doubt Derby could afford him, plus he's too young for them, likewise Leics will be in issues with PSR anyway, without spending more on his wages either. So if he's looking at the CH, possibly either Sheffield club (though Weds have issues too), then Leeds (similar to Sunderland) or maybe Barnsley or Doncaster, though I doubt he'd go for L1. Birmingham look set to make a crack at the CH after going back up, so them or WBA potentially, if he wanted to stay local.

I love Toff as a player and team squad member and he’s hugely valued and respected by everyone at Forest.

He has also done some great off-the-pitch work for the mental health programme Tricky to Talk which I hope he continues with in some way, shape or form.

He’s made a great contribution to our success in the Premier League and he will certainly be an asset wherever he goes.

And, thank you for the goal line clearance v Spurs. đź’‹

Any Championship club looking to challenge for promotion or even one of the clubs recently promoted to the Premier League would be lucky to have him.

I always felt like with him in the team we would get 100% from him. I'll always remember that goal away at Wolves when Coops was nearing the exit.
Seems like a lovely guy too. All the best to him.

A Coops and Toff reunion at Boro could work. In fact Coops could get some of the old band back together up there.

One of those players I hope we face with another club at some point, just to see and hear the reception he would get.
