Mr. Brian Clough.

The greatest there has ever been, or probably ever will be.

Those of us who saw the glory days were the lucky generation in the long history of
Nottingham Forest Football Club.
Thanks again,Cloughie.
I only caught the end of the 80s and early 90s with Cloughie when he was waning a bit, but even then from hearing the voices around me, you knew and felt how special he was and you could see the aura he had on the touchline. Adding to that, Forest could still beat any other team on their day.

In 1992 I went to Wembley to watch Forest in 2 cup finals in 2 weeks. Very special times for a young boy who thought that was the norm...

When my Dad was alive he always reminded me what a great player he was having scored 204 goals from just 222 appearances for Middlesbrough and 18 Hatrics in his career.

He was some player, my Dad was delayed getting into Ayresome Park and joined the celebrations half way through the first half, not noticing the scoreboard he yelled 1-0 a bloke stood next to him said "No its not it's 3-0 yer silly booger, Clough is on a hatrick"
