I'm not so sure. I initially thought that after the Stroud tweet but there is a couple of weeks between that and the second one. Admittedly the Stroud one is a bit close to the mark in terms of the club being called in for bringing the game into disrepute.

I like them though and hopefully the club have seen them as light hearted and allow this little social media gem to continue.

He's not an 'American' - he has just worked for an American institution for the past 7 years.

See how long this one lasts. The Social Media guy who we hired from Warwickshire CC at the start of summer lasted about 5 weeks before being canned. Assuming this new blokes role will be slightly different, sounds more like he's a marketing guy rather than purely Social Media.

The previous guy who was head of Media for just 6 weeks spent 11 years at Warks Cricket Club prior to that.

I'm not sure longevity or knowledge is what matters here.

Judging by the date, we played Bristol City on that day in a 5.20 pm kick-off. Must have been on TV.
