Thinking of switching from Sky to BT.

Will be watching Sky Sports via BT. Can you still view Sky red button games on BT?

My understanding is that the BT red button system only applies to BT’s own extra games and has no bearing on Sky red button games, which is one reason that I subscribe to Sky’s more expensive system. Another reason is that, being an oldie,I find Sky’s navigation more logical and easier to negotiate.

I just reread the page and I think I agree with you.

I've got Now TV and they have the option for red button games now too, via the 'bonus streams' section. I bought an annual Sky Sports pass at the start of the season for £150, which was really good value, relatively speaking.

just had a look and 5 or our next 7 games are on TV. Great for us fans who are not localised, I guess could be annoying for those with ST's and constant moving of fixtures.

I think they've had it for a while on certain devices like TV sticks and consoles but somewhat oddly not on the devices I'd expect most people to be using NowTV on... (computers, phones, tablets...)

Of course, people who don't have access to that don't get a reduced subscription.

Add to that, the annoyance of SKY refusing to authorise early/timely postponement of games to save the travelling fans the money and the time travelling to games postponed at the last minute.

Incidentally, our game is on TV tonight because the Swansea/Bournemouth game is off, that was the original game to be shown.

Somewhere in the back of my mind, I have this thought that I signed a petition or something to do with having a sort of governor to look after football and give fans a voice so the continual disrespect shown to fans by the EFL and Sky would be curtailed.

If I didn't, it's something which we desperately need. Bit like Boris and the NHS; we're constantly told the fans are the lifeblood of the game, but at crucial moments, we're forgotten.

Presumably that's another one blacked out for our overseas friends?

Inevitably, although it might be on DAZN here (the TV guide doesn’t go that for forward, yet).

This thread should be pinned.

If we beat scruddies then the Liverpool game will be Sunday 20th March at 6pm live on ITV.

So that probably means the Fulham match for 19th at 8pm will have to be moved.

Because playing the scousers for the first time in 23 years after a day on the piss is a good idea and shows how much has been learned from the Leicester game.

Perhaps it's just in my imagination, but I seem to remember a time, not so long ago when I dreaded a TV appearance by the team because we always seemed to lose and also put in a really poor performance.

That seems well and truly in the past and I now look forward to the TV shows. Just another way Cooperman has improved life here in deepest East Anglia.

Edit: Forgot to add that I was stopped by a dog walker whilst out on my exercise this morning and the comment was "Your team did well last night". Chuffed, I sped on to complete my exercise on a lovely sunny morning. A perfect start to the day.

Nice one Richard.

Now the warmer weather is here, I'm walking the dog in the Forest 'glow in the dark' shirt.

Enjoy your day.

Sort of on topic. I re-watched the FA Cup match on ITV catch up. Under the sports category is a series called European Cup Winners and Forest have an episode. Not quite 'I believe in Miracles', but lots of good footage of the second European Cup win.
