The red button coverage is more bob than Forest TV though.

At least with FTV you get the RN commentary, replays, and the graphics when someone gets booked, scores or there's a substitution...

Last few times I've used the RB coverage the commentators have just waffled nonsense.

I usually watch the red button coverage on my phone - the low quality production and resolution makes putting on my TV a waste.

How does that work? At least on NowTV I've never been able to find streams for anything not on an actual channel.

On NowTV all the red button games are on “Bonus Streams” which appears about 15 mins before kickoff at the bottom of the homepage. One commentator, one camera, no replays.

Edit: doesn’t work on the nowTV app on phones I believe

* Amazon Fire TV Stick – 2nd & 3rd gen, 4K, Lite & Basic Edition
* Apple TV – 4th gen or later
* NOW Smart Stick or Box
* Roku boxes and streaming players
* YouView box
* PS4, PS5
* Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S

That’s really weird.

Here, Sky DE have more channels (ten dedicated football ones, plus ten others and Sky Sport News DE and Sky F1.

All the channels are available on all streaming devices (like the firestick or AppleTV and consoles) with the „Sky Ticket“ app, and a version of that app for mobile devices has every channel as well.

I don’t understand why Sky in the U.K. can’t do similar?

They do if you’re a Sky subscriber like congo.

But NowTV is their cheapo streaming option so makes sense you don’t get all the bells and whistles. You can still watch all the red button games on TV, consoles, smart tvs etc, just not on the phone app.

Yeah - sorry, should have been clearer: here, „Sky Ticket“ is the German equivalent of „NowTV“.

I don’t subscribe to Sky per se, so I don’t have a Sky box or any of that junk, but I do subscribe to „Sky Ticket“, which is streaming-only (Ticket also has the general entertainment channels like the German versions of Sky One and Sky Movies, but I only subscribe to the Sports package, but I get about 20 channels for that).

Oh right. NowTV has got a lot better over the last year or so. There didn’t used to be any way of watching red button games, then I used my flatmates’ xbox, now I can watch it on the telly.

The lack of replays and one lone commentator wittering on at himself is a bit shit, but better than not watching the game at all.

I imagine it will come to the mobile app pretty soon.

I’ll be over in Freiburg visiting the in-laws next week. Father-in-law has sky sport now I think. They don’t show Championship matches though, do they?

It was easy in my day. Football on the TV once a season, so we didn't have all this head scratching and worry. No wonder there's so much depression around.

No, those are only on DAZN.

I hope Forest have the good sense to keep ticket prices low for this game-if not,I think the crowd could be
down and the atmosphere not as good as required.

Aye. It's not just the day it's the shitty time as well. I'd booked the prior Friday off work, annoyingly, and I finish up at half 5, so if I were to head home it would then be about 10 frickin minutes before I have to head out again if I want to get to the ground in good time. It's probably a better idea to head into town or West Bridgford and get some crappy fast food before dossing around in what will be inevitably shite weather, fun way to start an evening, not.

A bloody joke.

„Gegen Montags Fußball!“ as we successfully campaigned for in Germany.

Crap day to play matches on.

Spotted this on the Leicester thread, so I thought I'd pop a copy on here.

Looks like we'll know our potential QF match before we kickoff.
Home to Liver(get a job)pool, or Rank City?

Have TV schedulers got us mixed up with Man Utd? I thought it was only them who were on telly every FA Cup tie they played!
