I think the Orthadox one you do over the heart. He is Orthadox I am pretty sure, he was doing that at Wembley.
The Orthodox cross is top, down, right shoulder, left shoulder (as opposed to the Catholic left shoulder, right shoulder) and with the three first fingers joined:

Forest are like EMs sexy new bird who loves mucky sex & has massive knockers whilst Olympiakos are EMs wife of 30 years who's put on weight, let her sen go a bit & has lost interest in sex and just eats chocolate while watching Emmerdale

I know which one I'd spend me money on
Quite simple brilliant 👏

First time I've seen him in the flesh was yesterday.... the guy is a big unit.

If I was the big guy I would make Dane the CEO of both Forest and Oly, giving him an elevated role. Give Dane the freedom to intervene in both clubs and recruit someone to Forest who Dane feels works in his mould. However, I am not the big man and want Dane to focus on Forest.

Hopefully he has come to his senses and he will follow the Forest example over here as well (Julien Fournier, ex-DoF and CEO at Nice should sign imminently, in exactly the role Murphy has over there.

FYI GBG,

Nice & Barnsley had a similar relationship to us and Oly as they were owned by the same investors.

So Dane & Fournier would have collaborated in a similar way they probably would here. In fact, wouldn’t be surprised if Dane had a part to play in that appointment.

I'm not sure that connection exists.

Chien Lee, sold OGC Nice to Jim Radcliffe in July 2019.

As part of that move Gauthier Ganaye left Barnsley and went back to OGCN as Chairman where he appointed Fournier to be CEO.

Dane Murphy went into Barnsley.

While this happened at the same time, they were never part of the same group.

I think the key to Marinakis success over the last 2 seasons has been defining and sticking to his "job" as owner and expecting/allowing his employees at the club to do the same based on their job description.
Heavy interference rarely works and watching him I see the hallmarks of a big, successful businessman-the good ones learn lessons, and without fanfares make changes and that's exactly what hes done.

Exactly that. He's taken his pride and ego out of the equation in order to strive for success (not looking at you Fawaz, but I am)

That ability to find employees who you show trust to and allow them to do their jobs is so key to build togetherness in any company.

Feels like a family atmosphere from top to bottom right now. That harnesses the feel good factor.

Nice to see him give Frank Clark a big warm handshake after the game. Suggests he listens to and appreciates a wide and knowledgeable circle.
I thought the same sort of thing whilst the game was going on. There were numerous shots on the screen of old Forest faces at the game and I wondered if they were there just by coincidence as it was a special match, or if they had been invited specially.

A group of our old players attend most if not all home games Richard - particularly John McGovern (who is still a club ambassador I assume?), Frank Clark, John Barnwell, Ian Storey-Moore and Garry Birtles. Robbo is an occasional visitor, so too, Guy Moussi.

Excellent, I didn't know that; guessed there might be a few, but that's a good list. Thanks.

As Ronald Reagan said

"Surround yourself with the best people you can find, delegate authority, and don't interfere as long as the policy you've decided upon is being carried out."
