Bob Fossil
Nottingham's dirty secret
Bournemouth are a nothing club so it's vs West Ham.
Think we could with both tbh.If we don't get Dennis, then we'll go for KD9!

Agreed... need both. Can't rely just on KD as his injury record is poor. We love us to get both... options, options, options...Think we could with both tbh.
I think Davis is essential though.

Davis will provide the perfect foil for Johnson as we've already seen. He's exactly what Johnson isn't, hard to shake off the ball, left-footed, can challenge in the air. If only he could add more goals to his game he'd probably be playing for a top 6 side.I think we're in desperate need of a Davis.
He adds an extra dimension.
£10m or below and gerrim in.
Awoniyi is improving as he settles in.Davis will provide the perfect foil for Johnson as we've already seen. He's exactly what Johnson isn't, hard to shake off the ball, left-footed, can challenge in the air. If only he could add more goals to his game he'd probably be playing for a top 6 side.
Jury's very much out on Awoniyi at the moment.
Not written him off at all. He's clearly got quality if you see his Berlin goals and there will be all sorts of reasons why a player needs time to settle.Awoniyi is improving as he settles in.
Against Valencia, he made a massive difference in thos last 20 minutes or so.
Don't write him off yet: he is going to continue to improve and will end the season as our top scorer/assistor
Add injury’s to the lack of goals and you have the full picture.Davis will provide the perfect foil for Johnson as we've already seen. you are correct he will get better but at the end of the day he was brought in to score goals something in preseason he failed to do but i'm not writing him offAwoniyi is improving as he settles in.

Fair point... and I did sort of feel that too.you are correct he will get better but at the end of the day he was brought in to score goals something in preseason he failed to do but i'm not writing him off

What's his injury record like?A striker like him will thrive on through balls and crosses. Crossing we can maybe do with our wings backs, quality passing from midfield not so much.
He was also arguably the best player on the pitch vs Valencia.
What's his injury record like?
If he is to be the main striker other Surridge what other options up front to forest have or will they adopt a false no.9 , i think its vitally important the Midfield come up with the goods
I don't under stand people writing off strikers (ie Awoniyi) early on with a new club. Look at Haaland--he's an incredible talent, and people are suddenly comparing him to Andy Carroll after the Community Shield. Which is completely bonkers. If Pep buys Haaland and then uses him as he used Jesus and Aguero, he's an idiot. And Pep is no idiot. City will adjust their tactics and Haaland will flourish. Pep' systems are involved and it will take some time.
