Both quite different types of forward really. Perhaps I'm being greedy, but I'd quite like to see both here. Dennis is quality and a player I really want us to sign, but Keinan still has a lot to offer IMO.

I think it's evident we needed a goalscorer. If we could add Davis for a low fee as well I'd go for it.

If we do go in for Davis I expect we'd be favourites to land him, after his exploits last season. It will all depend on whether our ambition is on a higher level than him.

Got to think if Dennis does come he's going to be the No. 1 striker, that leaves 17m Awoniyi on the bench.
I'm sure that wasn't what he expected when he signed, tough job for Steve to keep eveyone happy, that's got to be one of the most difficult tasks of any manager in the prem though I guess with such large squads of quality players.

Of course that's the obvious response. But Davis was key for us and really changed our season, a big reason for our promotion. One of the very best Forest centre forwards I've seen at winning the ball and laying it off to a team mate with considerable pace as well. We were so much better when he played even if he wasn't a prolific scorer. I no reason why he wouldn't scare PL defenders.

The 5 subs thing helps and if Awoniyi can be utilised as a super sub he actually might end up with enough goals to keep him happy.

Fact is we have done good business this window and the other side of that coin is that Davis must have been deemed too expensive for what he is at Villas daft valuation. I'm fine with that and I also think hes not a great gamble in the "potential improvement" and therefore worth much more in 2 years stakes
Injuries are a worry with Davis but when he played he was special. Like most I can't make judgments on players I haven't seen much if at all. But I've seen enough of Davis to know I'd love him to be leading our forward line.
