The psychology of breaking the £100m barrier is also validation (of sorts) for EM - that's big boy money...the project is working.
I also wouldn’t discount Arsenal you know. I know it’s unlikely but after he has an amazing World Cup alongside rice and they’re in my opinion after a centre mid with a fair bit to spend that link wouldn’t surprise me.City are still trying to get their new manager under contract, some speculation they are having to negotiate with Chelsea re compen.
Also, Chelsea have been deemed out of the race for Anderson….however i would never discount them completely, especially as Fernandez is on his way to Madrid for £100m+
Been touting Arsenal myself, but Lewis-Skelly did eventually look more than decent at CM in the final.I also wouldn’t discount Arsenal you know. Yeah I think that spending that on Anderson with Lewis Skelly in the wings and other holes would be daft from ArsenalBeen touting Arsenal myself, but Lewis-Skelly did eventually look more than decent at CM in the final.
I think the big man will go even further than we imagined and I think it will be £115M plus add ons. I don't think the big man is going to f*ck around here and he'll rinse every single penny out of them that he can get. What do we reckon he goes for then? £110m?
None of the main journalists have mentioned the amountDo we know what the opening big was? 105m mentioned on twatter.
I have visions of City offering various increasing amounts and the big man sitting in his chair - feet on the desk, staring out the window - repeating in a monotone voice “£115m”.
