Similar stylistically though in many ways.Don’t see the Gerrard comp either. Nowhere near the attacking threat.
More Steve McMahon.

it’s the one thing holding him back from being world class he’s got to get better in the final thirdHe will be if he starts scoring goals.
It's something I expect him to improve over the next couple of years.
He can’t have similar scoring and assists stats, can he? Although I’ve never looked at that to be fair.Similar stylistically though in many ways.
Elliot seems much smarter - or at least with his head more screwed on - than Gazza ever was.And certainly where brains are concerned as well.
Who gives a f*** about Joe Public....we know what we have in the Garibaldi.Gazza comparison is just bbc clickbait. The comments are, as always, fascinating. Perhaps if Anderson played for Crystal Palace the average armchair brain would think he was half decent. As it stands, the Forest badge seems to be doing him no favours with Joe Public.
That has to be one of the worst adverts I have ever seen. Who signed off on that script? It's not Stuart Pearce in Pizza Hut, but Elliot has made his acting debut..
This is from someone that knows Anderson very well, so choose whether to believe it or not, but Anderson has no desire to leave Forest, he is very happy here but is realistic enough to know that at some point the club will need to cash in on him. Man City are the most likely destination, but Anderson is wary of committing until he knows the position regarding Pep's future and whether he is going to stay.Surely Man City will be the eventual destination? Budget and potential for trophies is far bigger there than Man Utd or even Arsenal.
Definitely not, but he still plays in a similar way to Gerrard, especially in his early days. I just looked and Gerrard in his first 5 full seasons in the PL scored 23 goals. So he was definitely more prolific but not a prolific as later. Two of those 5 he got 7 as well, so got 9 the other 3.He can’t have similar scoring and assists stats, can he? Hopefully so in the next 2 months.Definitely not, but he still plays in a similar way to Gerrard, especially in his early days. I think the way VP plays him he could get more goals.
Haha, no, my scouting remit is much younger than that. I'm recommending players anywhere from 7 years old to sixteen. Every year older a player is, the more difficult it becomes to get them brought into an academy as the talent spotting is so quick and relentless. Sometimes as they get to teens you can be better off going to the non-league games to see who's potentially available there that might have been missed or improved having dropped out of an academy and gone away for a season or two.Do you go and watch many Newcastle pre season friendlies with a scouting list from the club?
When he plays as the defensive midfielder he reminds me of Makalele.he reminds me more of better technically essien. breaks play up, all over the pitch, keeps possession, tidy feet. and that’s not a knock, essien was outstanding
He's not really an attacking midfielder so he doesn't have to score goals to be world class. Watching him run around with England's finest he's blatantly been their best player since he broke into the team which categorically makes him world class.it’s the one thing holding him back from being world class he’s got to get better in the final third
If he does, get Mainoo in the other direction. If clubs aren't going to pay upwards of 80m for him, a part exchange might be better for us. Man City players are over inflated don't aiways work out at another club.Long has he doesn't go Manu. I don't want them f***ers having him.
Just said the same. There’s absolutely no way any of them are anywhere near the standard MGW has shown recently. Also, I may be wrong … but he’s just put solanke on.. his form is terrible. How MGW is not in this current England squad is beyond me, palmer, foden, rogers all poor no creativity just boring to watch absolutely no chance at the World Cup
