Admittedly its from a pretty random source, but we're supposedly in for Dagenham & Redbridge forward Dwight Gayle, currently on loan at Peterborough. Thoughts?

Can someone actually confirm why people believe this? In his relatively few starts or sub appearances, can you name one instance when Findley has burst past a player with the ball or chased a ball over the top with a defender and beat him hands down?

Findley isn't actually that fast. Quick enough, but absolutely nowhere near Tyson speed.

He spent most of his game time holding up the ball and winning headers, which I thought he was rather good at for a relatively small striker. Shame really as I thought he may come good for us but his confidence must be shot to utter f*** at the moment.

Palace are hoping to have Glenn Murray available in the new year which could see Gayle drop down the pecking order even more.
