Randomly on my Youtube feed tonight. Interview about shipping for the vast majority of it that took place 4 days ago. Its well worth a watch in my opinion to see how he talks about his operations in his world, surrounded by his peers.

Big Vangelis was in downtown Piraeus today. He presented the future Karaiskakis Stadium expansion in 3D, and even made a short speech, in the Municipal Theatre. The entire Olympiakos team was in attendance, as well as other celebrities, including the city Mayor (it's basically Big Vange himself, but he can't because he owns Oly, so he's placed an actual sort-of politician as a frontperson) and the US ambassador for some reason. The stadium looks fab, and the presentation was quite fancy - the theatre is like a mini opera theatre and quite lovely inside, and our city's nicest-looking building. Hopefully, a similar presentation ceremony for the WFCG will take place in Nottingham soon.

Based on that article it sounds like they didn’t even pay in installments & it was all upfront. For context almost all transfers are paid in instalments now. That would save us loads.
