He'll punch who he wa-ants!
Big Marinakis
He'll punch who he wants!
Unless they’re clearing their throat immediately after (although not connected to) a particularly poor refereeing performance…Anyone resorting to spitting deserves a good slapping, dirty disgusting behaviour.
That's worth a five game ban for the other guy then.Just seen the video. The Big fella needs to sharpen up a bit, he walked into that one. Although the other fella resorted to spitting in the end.
Unrelated but is it me or do footballers not spit as much as they did 10/20 years ago?Unless they’re clearing their throat immediately after (although not connected to) a particularly poor refereeing performance…
I rather suspect other fella might end up in Piraeus harbour wearing a pair of concrete boots. That's worth a five game ban for the other guy then.
(in my opinion)I rather suspect other fella might end up in Piraeus harbour wearing a pair of concrete boots.
Thank you for bringing this up (no pun intended) as I've always wondered why footballers spit so much. I played sport all the time when I was younger and never in any game or sport did I feel the need to spit anything, unless I'd had a cold of course. Am I just weird and everyone else needs to spit all the time. Always wondered.Unrelated but is it me or do footballers not spit as much as they did 10/20 years ago?
It used to be you'd see them honking a greenie up every time the camera zoomed in on them.
A rare example of improvement in the game!
I seem to remember a comedy sketch featuring footballers spitting. it was a parody of MOTD. Think it was Gob of the day on Not the nine o'clock news, they were analysing the technique, whilst zooming in on the player. A bit like their darts sketchUnrelated but is it me or do footballers not spit as much as they did 10/20 years ago?

Apparently neither Frank Rijkaard nor Rudi Voller watch much football nowadays, think the games really gone downhill since their day.Unrelated but is it me or do footballers not spit as much as they did 10/20 years ago?

Brian Clough punching Forest supporters following a pitch invasion at the end of a League Cup quarter-final againstSurprised this story hasn’t gained more attention really. It’s not there’s much else happening in the big Premier League soap opera.
"Big" Evangelos is too busy having a punch-up at the basketball in Athens.I was expecting an end of season statement from Marinakis to apologise for what was nearly a disastrous season which was mostly self inflicted. Would be nice for some acknowledgment of this and to say they hope to learn from the mistakes and to make improvements next season. Also a stadium update would be nice!![]()
I don't know about Frank Rijkaard, but Rudiger Völler is a frequent match day spectator at Bundesliga matches, courtesy of his role as Sporting Director of the Nationalelf for the German FA (Deutscher Fußball Bund).Apparently neither Frank Rijkaard nor Rudi Voller watch much football nowadays, think the games really gone downhill since their day.
Ah, "Jogi" Low was rather infamous for - apologies to the gentler readers of the forum - giving his 'nada a good scratching and then sniffing his fingers, in full view of the TV cameras. We could have a spitting and nose hygiene XI.
Dyche and Low candidates for the manager for a start.
I was sat in a queue at a set of traffic lights yesterday. The white transit van two vehicles in front had the firms name, email address and mobile number shown on the back. It said GDB Roofing but from a distance and with the poor font it read as GOB Roofing!Unrelated but is it me or do footballers not spit as much as they did 10/20 years ago?
