Dilane Bakwa

Fair play to the lad, I’ve been probably his harshest critic, but he’s left Cucurella on toast for Taiwo’s goal there. And went by him like he wasn’t there for the penalty too.

Still got a long way to go before he starts repaying his fee, but at least I can see what he is supposed to bring now. Long may it continue. Well done lad.

Hopefully next season we see him get confident and start taking players on. He doesn't seem to make silly mistakes which is a good sign, you can see he lacks confidence one on one but that will come with more games and the right coaching

The environment is better, the players are playing with more freedom & less pressure

Bakwa deserves a fresh start next season, he has great ability, we have seen it in flashes - he will get better, 100% I am certain of it.

We don't need to throw players on the scrapheap at every opportunity. None of these players are bad players.

Nope, but Ndoye will go.....just doesn't suit us at all and we can probably get our money back. And we'll definitely sell either Morato + Sangare OR Elliot. But ideally I'd keep those three.

His best game by miles today. Finally showed that there is something there. Really happy for him and he has a great end to the season.

Strange how he looked so absolutely clueless v Burnley, but here made two goals and worried an annoyingly good player in Cucarella. Must be a confidence/freedom thing, respect to VP getting him going finally.
You see though the system was all wrong vs Burnley. Vito second half At Burnley has stumbled on a system that suits the majority of the players.

Sent Cucurella to the shops, which is just fine by me.
Absolutely had him on toast, three or four times.

Created a goal, and was a constant threat. He can be rightly proud of his contribution because he was brilliant, and he showed exactly the player I'd seen playing in France.

More of the same please, Dilane.

I thought he played well, showcased some of why we forked out the money in the first place for him.
That said, depending on our ambitions for next season and whether we are in a certain competition, I think we need better wingers period and he'd be one I'd look to offload, along with N'Doye.

Appreciate he's had a great game, but I still remember how turgid he was against Burnley.

There's a player there.

I really hope we don't go for wholesale changes in the summer. We've got a lot of the right ingredients here already.
Yep if he's here next season and VP is too, watch him push on again. I like a tricky winger and with him and Hutch next season, we could have two really good'uns.

He did well.

One swallow doesn't make a spring - needs to make this count as he'll almost certainly get minutes in the league as we rotate heavily to keep everyone fresh, both for EL final (if we qualify) and not getting players injured right before summer break.

Delighted for him. Set up 2 goals and got a fantastic reception off us all when he was subbed. You could see he was delighted with his game. I hope we can still integrate Bakwa, McAtee and others that joined last summer. They’ve been disappointing but they’re young and it has been among total organisational chaos.
