Pleased for the guy but absolutely hammers home the point that selling him for a pittance and then paying Edus future son in law a fortune to effectively perform better off the pitch than on it is pretty disgraceful. I'm not sure if Textor has even paid us what he owes us either which obviously is the crappy cherry on the crappy cake.
Silva still a loan, would hope if we go down, we keep him. Would be a beast in the championship

Just seen that he has been called into the Brazil squad. I could not understand why we sold him.

We didn't give him time to recover fully from that ankle injury.
It healed physically, but mentally took a bit longer.
I think we should have loaned him back to the Brazilians, and then see at the end of the loan if he was over it and back to form.

Are you being stupid or just awkward? He made it clear that he wouldn't sign a new contract as he wanted to go somewhere with a better chance of first team football. So, on the basis that you can't force a player to sign a contract there was no point in offering him one.
I don't see what choice the club had. BTW, the shit show this season is not a result of not signing up Harry Toffolo.
