Doesn't work, get our money back and move on.
It makes sense: he's clearly the odd man out in a squad with many players who, initially, looked like a flop, but during the course of the season showed that they are not without some qualities.Sounds like we are offering him to teams as opposed to teams approaching us.
Ponte wasn’t great either.i highly doubt any club would pay what we paid for him - £35m. Swiss players just doesn't do well at forest - pascolo, freuler and now ndoye
Napoli were in my opinion pretty close to that figure last summer. Take £30m happily.i highly doubt any club would pay what we paid for him - £35m. Swiss players just doesn't do well at forest - pascolo, freuler and now ndoye

Everyone else: "I'll drive him to the airport"I'd fly him to Naples for that figure.
And I don't have a pilots license so it would involve a hijacking, but there's not a lot I wouldn't do for £30m for Ndoye.
No chance we'd accept that. Terrible business decision that would be. We'll get more like £30m, if not he'll be here next seasonI’d be happy to get 20m for him and move on. I reckon we may see a loan and obligation type move away to Italy.
Wha happens to his value if he sits on the bench all next season and/or replicates his one goal and one assist of this one?No chance we'd accept that. Terrible business decision that would be. We'll get more like £30m, if not he'll be here next season
I agree, but I'm fairly confident there will be suitors right now. One bad season doesn't mean he'll be poor elsewhere. And I don't see Marinakis accepting a big loss (~15m) after one season.Wha happens to his value if he sits on the bench all next season and/or replicates his one goal and one assist of this one?
To give context only around ~8 players per season get signed for more than £20m in Serie A. If we're expecting £30m offers to come in from Italy we'll be waiting a whileNo chance we'd accept that. Terrible business decision that would be. We'll get more like £30m, if not he'll be here next season

Reports imply he’s highly valued, although that could be a narrative the club are pushing. To give context only around ~8 players per season get signed for more than £20m in Serie A. If we're expecting £30m offers to come in from Italy we'll be waiting a while
There's almost certainly interest in him, he's shown what he's capable of at that level. The problem is convincing one of the few sides who could afford him to cough up the money, that's going to be difficult on the back of a disappointing season where everyone knows we're looking to get ridReports imply he’s highly valued, although that could be a narrative the club are pushing.
We always somehow manage to claw good value for our players, by hook or by crook...There's almost certainly interest in him, he's shown what he's capable of at that level. I think we've done well if we can get around £20m with a sell on clause included. Or ideally the big man finds a new Textor so we can sell him for £50m
Didn't he scored on his (home) debut. That was as good as it got.Ponte wasn’t great either.
Similar to Ndoye then.Didn't he scored on his (home) debut. That was as good as it got.
He did (against Birmingham) and I saw him score a hat-trick at Bury in a 7-0 League Cup win but overall he didn’tDidn't he scored on his (home) debut. That was as good as it got.
