Dan Assane Ndoye

It’s Ndoye’s turn to be sold now then

A few weeks ago Hutchinson was the sack of shit that was a complete waste of money, now he’s our best player

Wingers blow hot & cold, especially new ones to the league. He has been on an upwards trajectory since joining, he’s gone back down in the past 2 games. CHO probably gets the nod against Everton now based on that - who has arguably had a slower season than Ndoye so far but we know he is class.

I have seen nothing really to suggest he is class. Maybe he does good things for Switzerland and fair play to him for that, but he doesn't look particularly good in the Premier League. Last nights performance was utter tripe.

See how he does with abit more time but I'm a little concerned after last night.

They used to same the same about Remo Frueler. "The Director" as he is known.

He couldn't direct piss into a bucket.

I wouldn't compare those two. Freuler is a good player, as he has proved both for Switzerland and in Serie A, but he didn't fit our style and maybe not even Premier League, but I don't think that's the case for Ndoye.

Thinking of Ndoye and Hutch, it seems to me it's better to reverse the situation at the moment. Start Hutch and bring Ndoye on for tired legs late in the game.

Dan is definitely off the boil at the moment.

But apparently those of us calling him out are wrong. CHO is not performing, Hutchinson is now highlighting this.
Callum is over-rated though and he probably always has been, because he came from Chelsea and he cost £3m. He has purple patches where he gets himself a goal but creatively, he's actually pretty poor and he's injury prone. That gets overlooked because of things like the City/Liverpool goals but why you think we've not really had any interest in him?

It's like the criticism of Morgan before the United game was completely valid, he was absolutely honking and it's why he lost his England spot. Difference was, Morgan came back with a vengeance and ended up a Player of the Month contender.

Back on track with N'Doye, it was him and Bakwa that the club were very insistent on all summer. I do believe in the second half of the season we'll see the best from N'Doye and said the same a few weeks ago. He has been rubbish past couple games but he's not a jabroni.

CHO is still carrying an injury which is why he is not at his best, but we have seen in the past he can be a game changer.
Hutchinson has come on like a out of control stream train and forced his way in, and again we have all seen he is a game changer.
N'Doye, sorry but at the moment I am not sure how he is keeping his place. Really need to see a lot more from him.

CHO is a bit of an enigma really. While I'm not quite as high on him as some here, I do think there's a lot more to his game than just raw goal contributions. In some ways he's as much a wide midfielder who helps us advance up the pitch into the final third, with his close control and reliable recycling of the ball, as he is an out-and-out winger beating his full back and getting a shot or a cross away.

This.

There seems to be some revisionist history going off here. The stats for CHO have already been brought up but Elanga was honking for the first half of the season last year, he had one assist (to CHO at Anfield) till he scored against Villa on the 14th of December. Till that game he had only completed 90 minutes 3 times and had played less than 60 minutes in 8 games. He had a purple patch over the Christmas period and in to January, but facts are he wasn't good and was in and out of the team.

N'Doye has been up and down, but he lacks a full pre-season and is on his third manager of the season (which is applicable for a lot of these new players). We have to give them the benefit of the doubt. Yes he cost a lot of money, but that doesn't equate to instant success (just look at Liverpool...). I also believe at Bologna he spent most of his time on the left (transfermarkt has him down as playing 26 times from the left in his last season in Bologna) rather than out on the right where he has played the majority of the time for us. Give him time...

You're asking an awful lot with that request Danga, but that notwithstanding, I completely agree.

There's a very good player there in my opinion, who I believe can be a real asset if afforded that time.

I suspect Ndoye has had to do a lot more defensive work than he bargained for. With Aina out, he needs to act almost as an auxiliary right back at times to give Savona extra protection. I think he's done that well for the most part but it probably comes at the expense of his attacking play. So probably unfair to be too harsh on him yet. Let's see him when Aina is back.

The irony is the guy he has replaced has had an even worse time at his new club

When he gets one he's going to fly to Button Moon. We know he can do it, theres a reason why we bought him for £35mil, his confidence in the final third isn't there at the minute but its coming. I really think he has the fundamentals of a superb Premier League player.

Shit again.
What excuses we coming up with this week?
Been shit three starts in a row now, he has to be dropped surely? Mind you, CHO hardly staked his claim for a spot today did he? Didn’t look bothered.

On NDoye though, I’m still not entirely sure what he does? What did we look at and think was worth paying 35m for?
