That IS informed BR.

Worth reading this thread Otis. In February Analytics Forest showed a break-down of his Exeter performances to FGR and it shows improvement statistically in quite a few areas to show his growth.

But he is a WIP too but he could also need to be in a more elite environment to round him off more because right out of academy football (mainly 23s as he hardly played u18s) he had pre-season with Lamouchi but has hardly been in our first team environment because of the loans.

He'd outgrown the U-23s for certain Bryan, and those stats from his Exeter loan justify why Lamouchi was right to have a look at him. Your suggestion that coming back here and training under the tutorage of a top-class full-back (Hughton) could be what Jayden needs now.

Exactly Otis. He started his scholarship with the u18s and inside 5 games he was in the 23s and belonging just like Johnson, Appiah & Migthen really and after basically 2 full-seasons with the 23s he had outgrown it like you say.

Whether Forest think like this is another story. He should be with the first team in pre-season to start at least and they can assess then is how I would play it.

Looks absolutely delighted to be there.

Remember the clamour on here to sign Christie after he had a reasonable second half of the season? What an upgrade we've found in Djed.

Agreed he was a more of a bombing wing back as well but was heavily restricted by Hughton's tactics. Think he will be suited to Swans style of play

Seeing this thread pop up just give me shivers and reminded me how far we've come so soon. I wouldn't want us to touch someone like Christie now.

Agreed. I don't think he's a bad player, but I am hoping that highly paid journeymen like him are a thing of the past now. Still, its a nice little reminder of how much better our current transfer strategy is compared to the previous set up.

And by the time he’s worked his way back to fitness it’ll be the end of the season

He isn't a bad player, but he was terrible for us till about Christmas time last year. Second half of the season he was alright and one of our better players overall, but like you say I am glad the likes of Christie are behind us.

Tried to resist posting on this thread but you won’t be surprised to know I can’t.
I’m sorry but Christie was shite. His defending was another level bad and although he was passable going forward he was too much of a liability. I never understood how most of you could dig out Figs week after week and ignore the fact that this guy would get dummied by a Sainsbury’s bag. As bad as any loan we had and as has been said it’s a great indication of where our recruitment is that we are not looking at banana skin signings like this anymore…

Good lord, why is forest linked with this old overpaid overrated player again ? Did ñobody mentioned to the press that we no longer look at has been for our transfers ?

Because either a journo needed a 3rd club to name to make the story sound more interesting, or an agent needed to drop the name of a 3rd club in order to try and squeeze more money from Swansea.

Don't think there's any chance this came from the Forest side (especially with us being named 3rd after Swansea and Watford), and I don't think there's any chance there's something to it.

Hopefully not.

He was generally cack value for money last season when we loaned him and we have a better player in Laryea already. That's presuming Spence won't be coming back.

Jesus no.
He’s cack.

He also can’t see him being cheap and as such I can’t see any reason on this Earth tgat we should be interested in him. It would be like waking up with your shittest ex after a bad night on the booze

Ridiculous. His only unfinished business should be with the dole office
