That was an amazing afternoon's cricket.
I tried to get one of the freeby tickets, but was too late.
So I was a bit miffed that there were more empty seats yesterday morning than in the Huddersfield section at wmbley.

Not quite sure what we're achieving going over and pummelling the Dutch into submission. It was almost quite cruel in the end just hitting 6 after 6 looking for the world record. It wasn't even the full Dutch side either as half of them are playing in County cricket, including most of their first choice attack.

So we were effectively destroying a selection of club bowlers in Holland. Very odd.

Notts looked like a team of old men last night, the Bears batted really well but we had no energy in the field.

We said exactly the same as we left last night mate. Samit sadly hasn't worked and I probably wouldn't bother with Christian again next year. Hales blows more cold than hot as does Mullaney and Carter hasn't progressed as we'd hoped.
I may be going overboard as I'm fed up but 2 or 3 fresh faces (especially in the bowling department) are a must.

Morgan is fortunate that the 2 England white ball sides are so good they can effectively carry a player to just be captain, and there's no doubt he's a brilliant leader still even if he's on the wane as a player.

England's white ball batting options are scary though, when you think we have Curran and Ali down at 7/8/9 sometimes. Both have opened the batting for Chennai in the IPL. No Bairstow, Stokes or Root on this tour either.

To be honest the depth we have is scary in general when everyone is fit, we could probably put 2 teams out in the 50 over world cup and they'd meet in the final. And just imagine if they'd pick Hales again...
