Sensible signing I yhink, for reasons already stated. Don't expect him to start every game, or even very often, but he gives is valuable options (see opening game) and cover.
Regarding the controversy, not to condone his supportive tweet, but surely the wider issue here is Senegal's approach to LGBT rights - homosexuality brings a prison sentence there I believe. I would like to think he has been educated following his tweet.

So he tweeted a supportive message when Guaye (so tempted to spell that Gay, given the context) didn't play for PSG on a day they were wearing a rainbow crest, which apparently he had form for.
I haven't seen the tweet but I believe it contained s picture of him with the player and the words 'a real man' in the caption, presumably with other words.
PSG said player was injured, CP said they'd speak to Kouyahte about it, and think he played only one game after that incident.

Something to note about him & Palace, they lost a lot of players last summer & signed 9 to replace them, completely changing the style in the they play and reducing the age of the squad as well. He will hopefully be able to guide us through and keep us calm.
