Che Adams

Notcher

Stuart Pearce
Linked with him and Glenn Murray now. Both good strikers but at opposite ends of their career. Personally I'd take either on loan but Adams would be preferable. Having said that probably no truth in either but here's hoping.

Edit: Just noticed I've put this in the wrong section apologies mods.

I'd take both, Che can play across the front and Murray is a good target man but we would need decent service and people around him, not sure that'll work with mouch.

Pearce wanted to sign him for about £3 and a packet of crisps, better late than never

Aye me too, we need options up front pace power heading ability etc. We might not like it but sometimes pumping the ball into the box and winning a game through scrapping and set pieces is still winning the game. We did that last year v Swansea and although some people didn't like it at the end of the day the table say 3 points not whether we played well and deserved it.

f*** me this would be a top signing.

Relatively local and is everything we're missing up top.

Both would be cracking signings if we could pull them off. Both offer different skill sets, Murray off the bench would be fantastic as a target man, despite getting on in years, excellent record at this level too. Adams got a £15m move for a reason, he was brilliant at Birmingham last year, can play in a number of spots across the front.

Adams always looked quality when he lined up against us, and it would totally make sense to get someone who knows what it takes in this division if Forest are serious about pushing for a playoff position this season. If they instead decide to go for players from a foreign league it will take them a few matches to get up to speed on the demands of the Championship.

We've been linked with so many foreign based players I have a feeling what the outcome will be.

As part of my 5 posts a year policy I have to make some comments before January - we shouldn't base any signing on the fact they look good against us - Miller... Harris.... McGoldrick... the list is looooonnnnggggg and half the time its because we've been so bad

We missed out on McGoldrick's best years. Don't go for young players, wait until they are on the scrap heap, pick them up for a song then wait for Lineker to sing their praises.

That's a fair point Richard, although I do clearly remember McGoldrick leading-the-line against us for Bournemouth at the CG in our Third Division days, and running our back-four (which included Wes Morgan that afternoon) all over the shop with his movement.

Just so I can be ready for him, is it "Shay" or "Chay" or "Chee"?

It would be pronounced „Chay“; it’s Castilian-Spanish slang for „mate“.

(Valencia CF, for example, are known as „Los Ches“ - „The Mates“).

I'll call him Zigga Zagga if he fires us up the ei aye ei aye oh !

No no no no no no no Ray, no no no!

There has only ever been, and can only ever be one Zigga Zagga!

It's no criticism of this lad to say right now that he will never be even remotely comparable with Joe Baker, irrespective of what he goes on to achieve in his career.
