Ronaldo seemed too busy wanting to prove himself as the best player in the world, imo, and I think its safe to say that he failed.

It was simple enough. Only Bet24 have got wise, so I did it slightly differently - £10 up net with a £40 free bet available to me now with BetFred. Which I can place on any bet at any time - Ie. Wait until Nadal is 2 set and 5-0 up in a tennis match. So, £50 in my back pocket, Ronaldo goes home empty handed. Everybodies happy.

I did it the qay it was quoted and I've bagged myself £163.80 after putting on £108 all together. Making a decent profit.

How? That was the best performance of any club team that I've ever seen. An absolute joy to watch.

It was no Milan 89, Belgrade 91, Ajax 95, It was more that Man U were just dull, lakluster and without creativity in midfield which allowed Barca to stroll.

All you need to stop an entire midfield of creativity is Michael Essien

Great performance, that trio of Xavi, Iniesta and Messi is wonderful.

The Belgrade final was utterly dismal. The Ajax/Milan game in '95 was nowt special, either.

The best performance was Milan v Barcelona's last 'dream team' in '94.

Has he singed yet?
Manchester United simply were not good enough. Barca said beforehand that they got to the final (and would win it) because they played the best football. And they did, they outclassed United without playing amazing. Messi's goal was a good 'un, too.

I don't like Manure and was soooo pleased they were beaten tonight.

The second goal was something special and should bring renewed hope for us all, If a team of Uniteds calibre can leave a forward with a free unchallanged header in the six yard box, why do we moan at Forest for the same thing ::)

I always like to see English teams win the European Cup and I wanted United to win tonight but if they play that they don't deserve to. They played awful ???

A truly great performance from Barca. All too easy in the end.
Worthy Champions of Europe.

What a fitting end to the season.

Well it certainly looked like it from his team selection (Anderson FFS) and formation, but also in his interview at the end of the game he was slurring his words and said "Barcelona are a better team than us", most unlike him, and no rantings of bad refereeing decisions either. ( I know there weren't any!)

How long till we hear the first mutterings of "he's past it" from the Old Trafford (plastic) faithful?

No, this is just how he sounds.

It was also pretty similar to the team 'leaked' to The Sun last week.

Personally, I am proud to support an English football team that has retained the European Cup.

Well, there's no need to brag and ram it down people's throats, is there...

Not like we need 3 days' worth of special broadcasts from Rome on Radio5 or anything crap like that...Can't wait for tomorrow's breakfast show, as they try and fill for 3 hours!!!

Don't forget......this morning, where ever you are, when faced with either a plastic or genuine Manc, shake you head as though weighing up the most serious crisis in the world, a theatrical pause and just utter words along the lines of, It takes real quality to win it twice on the trot......I cannot wait, Grantham covered in the hateful shirts yesterday.

Saddo's or what..

Woman who works for my wife, spent yesterday morning packing up her husband, two sons and pals husband and son....they travelled to Manchester to watch the game in a pub near Old Trafford.............My wife burst out laughing, could not believe it, when challanged and told because her husband and sons like football, why did she find this funny...........No doubt dead snotty..My wife told her , My Husband and Sons actually go to the games, not watch on television....Thats My Girl ;D

Man United were awful and did not deserve to win at all, Barcelona were far superior especially the midfield. At the end of day Barcelona deserved to win, Messi's goal was great might I add ;D

Barca gave a lesson in passing football, crisp, precise and positive, they made them look stupid without being arrogant, reminds me very much of ourselves in this competition

Barca weren't at their best, but were good with possession and deserved it because Man U were just plain awful.
Ronaldo was greedier than usual ??? and Rooney has no left foot from Left Wing.
Messi was good, but nowhere near his best, but the journalists made love to him cos he scored a goal which any attacker on £160,000 a week should manage!
Pique and Iniesta were the best players on the park by a country mile for me.
And Puyol's a dirt cheating bastard
