Brennan Price Johnson

Larry Lansbury

Viv Anderson
Think he will play an important part in the season but I think its right that there is significant competition for the attacking slots and Johnson’s position. Johnson’s so early in career and still has so much developing to do-which he may do whilst starting, coming on as sub or having a week off depending on what is required-which is fine. His raise has been steep and remarkable and Cooper will now know how to manage his next phase.

He's learning his craft, with very good players to help him along. I don't expect him to start half as many games as he has been doing, but as a valuable player in the squad, he's going to have a busy season nonetheless.

You can't teach that sort of composure, last week or this week. It's weird as you'd have him down as a classic skinny and quick pacey winger, but his main strength is his old-school number nine ability in front of goal.

FYI I thought he played with a bit more confidence today. Not sure if anyone else thinks this, or has maybe even said it, but he almost seems shy on the pitch I think, like he's almost asking to be left alone. Nice humble kid...needs to be more of an arrogant aggressive prick sometimes though and I mean that in the nicest way possible lol

For me he's all about the burst - folk think they've got him sorted and then he just explodes into life.

After his goal scoring last week (well, it went into the net) and this, I thought much the same as some others. Put him alongside Taiwo, so the big man can engage the CBs and Brennan can finish it off.

I thought Brennan played very well today and was a real handful for Spurs. I'd also like to commend him for taking out that mocking asswipe Richarlison.
Thought he showed a lack of respect doing that stuff. Brennan shouldn't have cleaned him out but who cares lol

He is doing well. One thing you notice is his pace is less dangerous because everyone is so quick!

But I think baring that in mind he is adapting really well which tells you how good he is.

9 of our first 11 today were in the Championship last season and the other 2 weren’t playing in the Prem. I think we are adapting brilliantly and we can be very happy with the first 4 games.

That's a really good point, didn't know that.
