Yeah it’s a decent gamble. Moyes will
Try and get a tune out of him and at his best he’s a much more impactful player than McNeil. If he disappears out of view it’s no huge loss to them.

Because OG seems to prefer high energy players in a 3-5-2, with his wide men having to defend as well as attack.
I think we have a similar player in Kalimuendo, and I don't think Kali is a Glasner type of player either.
But I'm happy to admit I might be wrong in my assessment of both players, and the manager too.

No but you don't want him doing that as every hard yard he puts in moves him further away from those gaps he can exploit with his pace.

We did well as a team because we accepted BJ wasn't going to do those hard yards. It gave us a goalscoring threat we didn't otherwise have, and I suspect it probably meant opposition teams didn't attack as much as they would have done down their left in order to provide defensive cover on their left.

oh I don't know, think Parish is being very forward thinking here, laying the ground work to help persuade Dyche to come for a relegation push sometime in late November...with Mcneil already there and that lanky striker they got from Wolves, Sean will be salivating.

Agree, but that took quite a lot of the setup and player selection to be perfect for it all to come together.

…I think your output has to be outstanding for the team to setup to offset a single players weaknesses. Brennan simply isn’t good enough for most teams to do that.

Yet he signed him for Palace and played him in all bar about two games after he joined 🤷‍♂️
 
It's surprising to see Palace flogging him six months after they broke their transfer record on him. That's really out of character for them.

A shame to see how his career is turning out. Hopefully the Everton move works for him.

Dwight McNeil in the league last season: 22 games, 0 goals, 1 assist. This transfer really baffles me. Neither performed last season but I would have said Brennan’s value was way north of Mcneil’s. Obviously both sides have spotted something they feel will make them better.
 
Good on him. No interest in engaging with the reasons for disliking him or his Dad. Brennan to me represents the romance and sheer bloody joy of that promotion season, from the moment he burned past that left back at Coventry. Necessarily sacrificed to the worst possible club in the country. Hope he gets back to where he was.

Honestly, I can't watch these things anymore.

I was never big into them anyway to be honest, but they are so they are just so ridiculously cookie-cutter and scripted.

Like, if I were going to play for a Liverpool team, I'd be saying, "I'm looking forward to getting out around Liverpool on the piss because it is a cracking night out." Of course one of the reasons for that is nobody there works, so it's pubs are always busy mind.

But regardless, it's very rare that these videos actually give the fans anything worth listening to.

I'm a keen amateur photographer, and would be consigning that image to the dustbin if I'd taken it.

Everton fans seem quite impressed with his pace. He may have found a club that suits him plus he has gardener there aswell
