Ben Brereton Díaz

He’s not good enough for this level, a 6 month spell playing in one of the worst teams ever at this level isn’t going to change my mind.

Sheff Utd played attacking football and generated chances for him, his goals/assists per minute isn’t even better than McBurnie’s & if any PL club signed him for £7m we would all be laughing our heads off.

Glad we were nowhere near this deal
I do think he’s a good buy for a prem club for £7m. I’d have him as third striker but it is probably irrelevant as he probably wouldn’t come to be a third striker at a bottom half club.

I think he’ll do ok at saints even if they don’t do that well. It is a good move for him as he has a whole season to show he can do it and maybe earn a move higher.

But I do hope you are right and we are aiming higher now

They move their heads towards each other, I get Schar then made light contact as a no no but Brereton went down as if I sniper had hit him.

Didn't he try and get one ours sent off and look for a penalty in the Shef United game last season? Some call it gamesmanship, sly etc...its called cheating.

I’m sorry, that’s never a red. Schar has every right to be aggrieved at how Brereton has gone into him (and then shouted at him on the floor) and going nose to nose is not the same as a headbutt.

Ref has to do better there imo.

He hasn't won a Premier League game yet, 16 games in.

Gareth Bale held the record for 24 games without winning, hilariously beaten by Oliver Burke who went 25 games :ROFLMAO:

Played ridiculously wide for a striker.

Showed again, like most of last season, that he isn't premier league standard.

that is on martin why he played so wide, tactical farce by martin. Brereton scored 6 goals last season for a relegated team , 1 more than nketiah ,i wouldn't say he isn't pl standard

He probably knew the soft twat wouldn't get an inch out of our central pairing of Milenkovic and Murillo

Timothy Pope

Just another roll of the Dyche
There was a statistic yesterday mentioned that he’d been on the losing side in the Premier League for 16 consecutive games (IIRC).
I hope that continues for the weasely chunt.

I thought I would have liked to see Brereton bought by Forest in the summer.
Having watched on TV the Newcastle v Saints game, and the Forest v Saints, I have to acknowledge I was wrong in my wish.
He has lost the advantage of physique he had when he made his debut for Forest, and whether it is the way he has been coached since leaving Forest, he has become a diving, cheating shyster.

Ever since he become bloody "Chilean" he's seemingly become an odious cretin. He's got a face you would just like to see slapped.

He needs to remember he's just a lad from f***ing Stoke, not a South American wonderkid.

For all those who say Brereton is PL standard, then so is Dennis.

Similar metrics for Watford in their relegation season.
How many of these "Premier League players" did we get in the Championship because they played 20-40 games at this level that turned out to be absolute crap.

Just because you have played in the PL doesn't mean you are PL standard. Especially when you played in one of the worst teams to play at this level.

Not sure how he didn't pick up a yellow card throwing himself and lunging at players then rolling over afterwards like he did at Newcastle, I am glad none of our players fell for it.
