Anyone finding this season boring upto now?

According to BBC News the appeal will not be resolved until next year.
The appeal has to be resolved in twelve weeks - maximum.

It could of course be resolved in a day or two, with an independent panel turning round and giving Cheaty a good old "f*** Off".

But, longest case, the independent panel has twelve weeks to return a verdict on the appeal so yes, that would go beyond Christmas and the New Year (but, only by a couple of days).

The 12 weeks can be extended if the appeal panel deem it necessary. Even if they lose the appeal, City can then make a further appeal against any punishment handed down. It could still go on for ages.

Not just you.

I also thought last season was pretty boring too. I know we got into Europe but there wasn't any jeopardy in that competition until we faced Fenerbache and by then we're halfway through the season.
We also had bigger things to worry about by then. Last season was absolutely shit. A little bit of Pereira magic sprinkled at the end.

I really enjoyed parts of last season. Beating Porto (Porto!) at home in Dyche's first game, the way the penalty unfolded in the semi-final first leg against Villa, beating Liverpool 3-0 away, Gibbs-White back heel against City, Anderson every week. Sure, there were some bad moments too, but there were positives to be had.

No, I'm not finding it boring, what was boring was league 1 under Megson and every season in the championship under whoever bar the last season with SC

I really enjoyed the Liverpool & Villa games and thought we looked like an established PL team, I think its fair to say we haven't clicked at home yet in fact we've been a bit shit but having said that we probably should've put a few more points on the board that were denied by an over zealous VAR

Maybe a degree of PL entitlement is starting to creep into one or two people on here

I was getting into the season but you can't fully get into it when there is yet another pointless international break around the corner.

The home games have been incredibly boring but that happens. This combined with frustration due to our crap home form. Overall I'm excited for the season.

This is the reality of being in the Premiership and I’d rather be bored here hoping for midtable than bored in the Championship with outside hopes of making the playoffs.

Being in a permanent state of transition doesn’t help, waiting for it to click together (or not) with yet another manager.

I can't be bothered with these exhibition matches so for me the international break has bombed the flow of the season.

I'm looking forward to us becoming more than the sum of our parts and hoping that doesn't take so long that our season's potential is capped at finishing in the bottom third. Ever optimistic - COYR!

After every game I look forward to the next to either put stuff right or keep the momentum.
The XL international 'friendlies' break stops any momentum and of course can bring injuries or so called fatigue.
Palace game seems ages away.

Boring? No.

NFFC is the team I follow home and away through thick and thin.

We have an ambitious and committed owner and a highly skilled squad with some excellent players.

Every supporter will feel some disappointments but this is football.

I see every game as an opportunity to win and progress up the table.

In our first season back in the PL we suffered a few thumpings but always backed the team.

In our twenty three years in the wilderness we suffered some miserable results and performances at many places.

If we believe that playing in the best league in the world is boring how would we cope with any future adversity in the Championship or League 1?

In my view the most boring issue is the nonsense of a two week international break so early in the season.

Can’t wait for Sunday week and the trip to Palace.

Boring? Nah.

The only thing that makes this season boring is the lack of games compared to last season. I miss that constant rhythm of weekend-midweek matches. Even if some of the Europa games were a bit of a non-event (Malmo, say), at least there was always something to look forward to, something to think about, in the immediate future, and that matters because the anticipation of a match is almost as important to the fan experience as the event itself.

Give me the “distractions” of cup runs - even if it’s the humble old EFL Cup any day of the week.

Absofuckinglutely boring as f***.
Anyone thinking a competition of 4 challengers and 16 makeweights is deluded if they think it is interesting.

We exited the League cup at the first asking.
Probably will exit the FA Cup at first asking too.
I'm ready to join the universe.

If we hadn’t fannied about with the ball after taking the lead against Leicester and let them back into it, fifth place and a Champs League place would have been ours. The top three might be dominated between a handful of clubs but there’s still a chance for the rest to grab a bit of the glory. It’s maybe not as dull as you think.

It was the depths of misery and despair under Megson, I was trying my best to go to every game then home and away and I moved to Oxfordshire ...soon gave up it was dog shit.

Christ I remember this Forum then when we were under Megson..it wasn't a happy place.
