Like I said in a previous thread, the money we got for him is a steal. He’s not worth the money they spent, love the guy and he did so much for us but in a team that doesn’t play like us he’s gonna be underwhelming.

Loved Elanga and ideally would have liked a bit more for him.

But personally (and I appreciate I am in the minority here) I preferred CHO from last season's wingers.

Provided nothing weird/bad happens before the deadline, I'm more than happy with how the window has panned out for us since he left.

I think the money we got for him was absolutely what he was worth to us given how well his attributes matched our teams needs. Watching Newcastle today confirms that he doesn't suit how they play right now. I dont think theyll get the best out of him unless they adapt, im not sure he can.
Play the ball ahead of him and get in the box hes trouble. Slow build up around the box fannying about is a waste of his time.

So Elanga went to Newcastle to be with Isak and his best mate Will Osula who is now looking like he is going to Frankfurt, Wonder if he is regretting the move now with our squad being still together, Grass isnt always greener Tony

Deadline day, both people who persuaded him to sign are leaving, the fans have given him pelters Wissa might mean he gets less game time, believe he's going to feature on the BBC scam interceptors programme soon!

Elanga didn't ask to leave, or kick up a fuss, so it's a little out of balance to give it the whole "he gets what he deserves" thing. If he didn't leave, then it would've been Morgs or Murillo we'd selling this summer to balance books.

He'll still come good at Newcastle. To say they've had an unsettled summer would be an understatement.

A couple of good highlights for him against Barcelona. I know they aren't what they were but him burning past them gave me a bit of regret about us not making it to the CL
