Angelos „Ange“ Postecoglou

Zero chance of Glasner or Iraola. They'll leave their current jobs for either a cartel 6 club or a big European side.

Silva would be okay, but will Fulham let him go?

The rest are either has-beens or shite, and I doubt any of them will last very long.

Hopefully the club have something else up their sleeve, as the options look grim as f*ck at the moment.

Pochettino’s compensation is huge isn’t it? When he was getting linked with Spurs I’m sure the Yanks were demanding something mental to let him go.

Is Glasner always a wingback guy? He’s obviously very shrewd and potentially unsettled by their lack of business but not sure he’d come.

Journos seem to think it’s Ange which I am not happy with at all. Rodgers is a decent manager but an absolute aberration of a man. A slimeball, sleazy arrogant piece of shit.

Silva seems the safe bet but f*** it, let’s roll the dice and get Jose.

If you’d have told me 5 years ago there was a chance we could get Jose Mourinho as our manager, I’d have had you sectioned.

Head says Iraola or Silva, heart says Mourinho.

Marco Silva honestly seems like the best possible candidate, worked with Marinakis at Olympiacos and I believe left on good terms, he's not been happy with Fulham's business but it's a step up for him. I like the idea of him a lot. Certainly think he'd be more realistically attainable than Iraola at Bournemouth.

Part of me would honestly love Mourinho. I said in the Nuno thread that I feel like Mourinho would actually be a great appointment because I feel like he does his best work when people write him off and I think the club does as well. I think there is a charisma to him and I actually quite liked what he did at Roma in those first couple seasons, I could see it working here. It obviously adds extra profile to the club as well.

Please not Rodgers or Ange though, seriously. Ange especially is a miserable, whingy f*** and I can't be doing with having to listen to that after we've been beat. Same with Rodgers too.

I like Ange. Not sure I'd jump straight from 'Nuno-ball' to 'Ange-ball' though.

Are we at the point in our development where we can go out and poach a top manager from another club like Villa did with Emery? Iraola/Silva would be nice from the PL, or someone like Topmoller/Hoeness/Fabregas, who are all highly regarded young coaches in Europe

Appointment imminent apparently. Which is not good if true, as it means we are recruiting from the unemployed scrapheap.

It's going to be that fraud Postecoglu, isn’t it? :(

I'd be pretty surprised if it isn't Ange, there have been rumblings that he's been in talks for a couple of weeks now and EM doesn't usually sack until something is sorted.

Isn't Mourinio mates with Mendes as well whose name has been thrown in the hat as one of the reasons Nuno has acted as he has?

If so I'd say Mourinio is out of the question as well.

I think it will be someone Portuguese or at least Spanish speaking with our fairly large Brazilian contingent.

Taking that to the potential names and ones in the list that Marinakis apparently favours that leaves Silva, Iraola and Mourniho. That's where my money would go
