Getting used to things. Looking like a seasoned coach with that posture and positioning. :)

He is probably telling Jorge to get some pies down him :D

If that is fat to some on here I'm led to believe most of the general public class as morbidly obese using their scale.

It's all about mid-table...
I suppose it's the fact he's getting 25 grand a week to gerra load of larrup down his neck, that supporters focus on his physique.

It's nice work if you can gerrit !

Spotted his shirt in the dressing room... [/IMG]

I just got this

It's a tough one, I mean he's 33 and whilst he's not in the best shape, he's certainly in better shape than he has been at certain stages of his career (Sunderland).
If I were him, I'd examine the current injury very thoroughly and make an overall decision on his future before the new season starts.

In all seriousness have we not been paying over and over again to have his injury examined? Is he on his fourth or fifth operation now?

Unsurprising but a sad end to a career, him having not kicked a ball competitively in nearly two years.

Let's hope we can keep him involved in the club in some capacity, perhaps on the Academy side or something.

Not a surprise but still disappointing news.
It's a testament to Reid's ability that since he returned to the club no Forest manager has found a way to consistently win games without him. A talent and a talisman.

We have missed him this last two years and come nowhere near replacing him.
One of a few very good players we have had in the last 20 years or so.
Hopefully we will get him coaching with the academy.

Spot on Ravz.

Reidy can be forgiven the way he's wound down his contract, he knew he was finished ages ago and I think a blind eye has been turned tbh.

Great player and we've not been the same since and will continue to struggle until we get that "Talisman".

A little shimmy, a deft touch and pass sprinkled with tne odd outstanding goal from the 42 he scored in a Garibaldi shirt. My personal memories of a natural talent he was blessed with. Please keep him involved at our club!

Been on the cards for a while, but hearing confirmation that he'll never play for us again is still a very sad moment. Fantastic player, a fully fit Andy Reid would have made a huge difference to our prospects for the coming season too.

Hopefully we can still keep him at the club in some capacity.

The most enjoyable player to watch in a red shirt for 15+ years.

From staying on the pitch at Sheffield United to applaud the Forest fans during a pitch invasion, when all other players left the pitch to that outside of the foot cross against Watford for Henderson. A great player that has had hundreds of great moments.

Would be disappointing not to see him stay at Forest in some capacity.

Thanks, Reidy.

Great player - could literally create a goal and pick a cross from pretty much anywhere. The difference he made to the team from an attacking perspective cannot be underestimated.

Shame but it was always on the cards.

To me he was our very own version of Gheorge Hagi.

Great vision and first touch, a knack of finding time and space on the ball, dictating play where opposition players would back off in respect, with a wizard of a left foot that normally found an inch perfect pass or shot.

Although it was to be expected, it's still sad. I'm just happy to say I had the pleasure of seeing him play and score great goals in the flesh.

Remember that ludicrous run of games under Cotternil where we didn't score for like a million years?

Andy Reid was left on the bench the whole time....the second he gets brought back in the side we smash Leeds 7-3.
