Interesting.

A player who can play more than one role.

Saying that the players we get from Arsenal always seem to have something wrong with them

But does feel like he is a level above the player we have got previously.

The interesting question if this happens is; which position is he primarily being recruited for? Better at wing back or in midfield?

Good player who can play multiple positions better than bringing back Osborn like some are suggesting

Can see a lot of sense in this one if the fee was right. Possibly, £7-£10m(?)

Played the majority of games at Arsenal at RB but has always maintained his preference for a central role. At the moment, seems like one of those players that is competent in one or two positions but doesn't really excel in any - an Arsenal speciality in recent years. Also, a bit streaky form wise.

Last year of contract might mean a bargain is to be done or a loan with option.

Sauce salad?
Needs more Forest in his blood - is Dave Phillips still alive? He could cover similar positions.

(In the real world if cooper wants him I'm happy and when I've seen him he's looked decent, but if hope we might get him on the cheap given his loan flop and contract situation)

Arsenal owe us a good deal after saddling us with perpetual biscuits, Osei-Tutu and Jenkinson.

I'd be up for this signing for sure.

Who are these random journalists that suddenly know our every move.

That's the Premier League for you.

I think he only joins a newly promoted team if he gets to play his preferred position of central midfield. Fine by me. I suggested him for CM last week on here.

I feel he is the right age, price and quality that we should be aiming for. Was in the England squad not too long ago and is in a bit of a trough. Let Coops work his magic on him and get him playing and smiling again and we’ll have a cracking player.

A few journalists saying it's as a CM with cover for RWB. It does make sense and I think he fits the profile.

High energy, pace and good ball carrier - exactly what we are looking for in every position.

High energy(?) The lad looks half-baked every time I've seen him.

This would be a good signing, a cut above both the team. He has a few England caps too. Hope it happens.
