Had a lovely time with my mate and our kids and their friends last night at the CG ,
Match was OK but the kids loved running around being kids , There was a right grumpy old Bastard near us tutting on his polo mints.
Can't wait for the next match , Jayden,Reece,Kyle and Brett are also excited.

Riley Harbottle and Fin Back were the stand-outs on Friday night & just have consistency to their play. Both are comfortable in possession and don't panic + brave and strong off the ball. They both have a real chance.

I think for the front 3, they have been excellent for the majority of the season.

A few hard truths.

1. Konate just has so much talent but sometimes he can hold on to the ball too long. You feel his play deserves slightly better output if his decision making was slightly more consistent.

2. Larsson scored the goal but I thought it was another performance that he has been giving recently. On the periphery. Need to get him on the ball more as he can slide past opponents.

3. Swan has been excellent lately but he will be disappointed he didn't finish the 2 cut-backs that were on a plate but I would have to see the highlights because the GK might have pulled off brave saves.

The 23s just need to win on Friday at Birmingham but there are some games today that will determine what is required of us.

Watched the 2nd half. Boys were excellent.

So well coached and have such a good shape without the ball. McDonnell was particularly excellent but our back 3 even if isolated dealt with problems.

Got some nice passing combinations going with Perkins & Powell + on the left-side McAdam with Osong. With a few better final balls we could have got another goal or 2.

Liverpool TV Commentators said this was their toughest match of the season. They had scored 77 times in 23 games before we shut them out.

We seem to have blossomed at U18 and U23 now that we're playing a similar style to the first team. Its a sign of the way things are at the club.

Josh Powell. Very good player. Much like McAdam, Finding the best position for them with their attacking and defensive instincts seems to be at wing-backs for us for now despite both being left-footed.

Think we have a really talented coach here. Ideally he can get us to Division 1 and keep us there for a season or 2. Wouldn't surprise me if league interest starts along this journey.

Our 23s which will start feeding a lot of the current 18s over the next couple of seasons facing City, United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham, Spurs, Maybe Chelsea and the likes regularly is the next step for them to keep pushing to be as a good footballers that hopefully are ready for a Forest who are Premier League club.

2-0 Forest

Fin Back has been a threat down the right. Konate finds him with a great pass. Back floats a beautiful cross in and Gibson-Hammond heads in. Another assist for Fin this season.

3-0 Forest

Great interception by Panzo who drives forward into the Birmingham half. Gives it to Konate who comes in off the left and gives it back to Panzo who finishes with what looks the outside of his boot effortlessly.

3-0 playoffs secured ..

So that's u18s Fa Youth Final
U23s Playoffs
Main team playoffs (minimum)
Ladies won the Fa Plate

It's not bad to be a Forest fan right now (makes a bloody change)

Fin Back MOM I would say.

Panzo 3-0 Forest

Easily. Mr consistent along with Harbottle who both always stand-out with your obvious one's like Panzo and the forwards Konate, Swan, Larsson.

Hard to judge on our young-midfielders but they part of the DNA of the red pressing machine.
