Question for Bryan or anyone who may know. Did the new 1st year intake include Bonser, Ingham, King, Li, Lovelace, Mohammed, Sharma and Drew Ward?

Squads announced.
I see you have three Hammonds and a Gibson-Hammond.

I also see a Greek, Giorgos Lemonakis. I suspect an Olympiacos connection: the only Lemonakis related to Greek football that I know of is a former match analyst in our technical staff, who then moved to the UK (he was recruited by Hull, then Watford, then Everton, and now Fulham). Maybe your youngster is his son.

What's happened to the Forest site? Not even match reports of recent u-21 games. let alone highlights.

It is absolute shite, a complete mess and most of it doesn‘t work, and the club don‘t seem bothered.

Entertaining match which we edged 1.0. Stand out players for me were Donnelley, Mc Donnell and Fewster. Have to say though nobody looks like they are going to be anywhere near the step up to first team for a while.

To be fair that task got a lot harder when we got promoted.

I do like the look of Aaron Donnelly though. Seems to be talented and puts in the effort and is also a fairly big lad for his age. Can see him making it somewhere fairly decent if not here.

Dale Taylor will make it somewhere, though he's quite a traditional style medium height centre forward - strong and good finish tonight - might have had a second... not sure what level he'll end up at? I spent most of my night watching him trying to think of a player he reminded me of and ultimately got nowhere... he's kind of retro in that he does the basics but obviously has an eye for goal and is good at making space for himself.

Noone really stood out for me - our 6 (Billy Fewster?) was very good first half but then was quieter after we switched around. I liked the look of the sub Hammond who came on but was disappointed in our 10 Hammond, who never really got a grip of the game, and our 2 Zach Abbot, who looked nervy and was caught out a few times. Big centre half captain looked like he could develop into a decent player.

Quite a frantic pace throughout - struck me as a hard level to make your mark in.

Who was McDonnell? Our 8 who hit the bar first half? He liked a tackle too.

That was Fewster mate.
Ah, so it was Mcdonall who caught my eye first half, who seemed to playing about three different roles depending on where the ball was - left mid, centre half and an extended spell at left wing! Thanks for the info.

As an aside it was really nice to get down to the u21s again with my dad - that was my introduction to following forest I think some 40 odd years ago. Cheers pops!

We're now 5th in the league with 16 points.
Our dear Derby neighbours are now bottom of the league
P 9 W 0 D 0 L 9 Goal difference - 22
The futures looking good.
I was just looking at how they are doing - won 4 drawn 1 in the last five too which puts them only behind Leeds (as far as a glance can tell) in the form table.

Interesting that I think I'm right in saying this side (or the one that played last night) is made up almost entirely of the u18 youth cup squad, meaning they have a few years together before they will be above the age limit, and plenty more time to develop.

Lost 2 1. Team had 6 under 18s in yet we're the better team. Had a penno saved , hit the crossbar and had more than enough chances to run out easy winners. Naivety cost us.

U18s playing Man City. It's on Forest TV but it the picture keeps dropping. Reds just gone 2-0 up, seem the be the better side too.
