Probably too many to mention for most of you!
Anyway,I’ll start with my (cough) favourites in chronological order-
1.League Cup Final 1980 v Wolves (Clough got the team selection wrong by playing Trevor Francis wide right as we lost chasing a third successive League Cup win).
2.UEFA Cup Semi...
So many to choose from-but my best memory is Brian Clough leading the side out at Wembley in the 1978 League Cup final against Liverpool.
I’m sure other forum members have got their personal highlights.
Former Bolton,Manchester City and Derby forward Francis Lee has passed away aged 79.
Part of the legendary Lee,Bell and Summerbee City side,I saw him play against Forest several times.
R.I.P. Franny.
I know it’s a long shot-but as there are no trains running after the game tomorrow,I was wondering if anyone in
the local area could me a return lift to Manchester (I managed to get a ticket today but the official coach travel is sold out).
Obviously,I would travel to the starting point and...
Former Chelsea,QPR and Arsenal player John Hollins has passed away aged 76.A good player,I remember him playing against Forest in the 60’s,70’s and 80’s.
His older brother Dave played on loan for Forest (from Mansfield) in 1970 during a goalkeeping injury crisis.
R.I.P John.
Having followed The Reds since 1966 I’ve obviously got plenty of choice 😁
Anyway-here’s my choice (loosely on a 4-4-2 formation).
Peter Shilton
Viv Anderson
Stuart Pearce
Kenny Burns
Des Walker
Roy Keane
Neil Webb
Trevor Francis
Tony Woodcock
John Robertson
Ian Storey-Moore

The season restarts today-I reckon by close of play on 21 January it might be clearer which way our season is heading.
We face a difficult trip to Manchester United and tricky looking home games against Chelsea and Leicester-also,crucially,we take to the road with jaunts against fellow...
Former Ipswich,Liverpool,Everton and England striker David Johnson has passed away aged 71.
A good player-he appeared as a substitute for Liverpool in both legs of the European Cup tie against Forest in 1978.
R.I.P. David.
Nottingham Forest have obviously had some wonderful strikers over the years-I thought I would list my personal favourites in chronological order.

2.Duncan McKenzie
3.Tony Woodcock
4.Peter Withe
5.Garry Birtles
6.Trevor Francis
7.Peter Davenport
8.Nigel Clough

Bobby Hope-a fine midfielder who made his name at West Brom in the 1960's has passed away aged 78.
He played in a good Albion side that included Jeff Astle and Tony Brown-winning the League Cup in 1966 and FA Cup in 1968.
R.I.P. Bobby.
I think the answer is almost certainly yes,but by how much?
The stated attendance against Peterborough was 28,000,but this would include season ticket holders
who didn't turn up-I reckon the actual crowd was around 25,000(there were fairly large gaps in the
Brian Clough upper where I was).
I...
I’m sure there will be many memories from different decades.
My personal favourite is the 1988 FA Cup quarter final win at Highbury.
Number 1 is Brian Rice!
The next 3 matches-Millwall(h),Barnsley(a)and Birmingham(a)take us to the next season international
break with nearly a quarter of the season gone.
How many points will we get/need in our battle for survival?
My analysis is-
0-Doomed
1-More or less doomed
2-In Crap Creek
3-Found a paddle...
I would be interested to hear of the top 3 Forest goals you have seen live that gave you the most
excitement
For me,it's always the dramatic late goal(when things look desperate).Hence,my top 3 are-
1.Martin O'Neill-1978 at QPR(a dramatic leveller in the FA Cup 5th Round to keep the treble...
