Standard of Referees (Sponsored by Steven Reid)

What we have done with yesterday’s antics is ensure that we won’t get another 50:50 decision this season.

    Still sticks out for me.

I will never understand what NES was f***ing around with by playing a full strength team against Blackpool and Bristol. When we didn’t beat them, it frustrated large parts of the fan base, and knocked our confidence on the pitch. We’d just come off the back of beating NUFC and MUFC and things...

    Matchday 34 - Everton v Nottingham Forest - „El Fiasco!“ - Sunday, 21st April KO 1:30pm

When we’re in the championship, but the businessmen get £50m from the EPL in the courtroom, it’ll make no difference to us fans who’ll be marooned in the second division for another couple of decades.

    Matchday 34 - Everton v Nottingham Forest - „El Fiasco!“ - Sunday, 21st April KO 1:30pm

Shambles of a club. Pick up from than 30 points after spending £1.7b maybe?!
  6. Collymore!

    Matchday 34 - Everton v Nottingham Forest - „El Fiasco!“ - Sunday, 21st April KO 1:30pm

At what point do we say the bottom four are the worst bottom four ever?! Because we’re on par with Luton and Burnley for performances.
  7. Collymore!

    Matchday 34 - Everton v Nottingham Forest - „El Fiasco!“ - Sunday, 21st April KO 1:30pm

Yep, lots of this going on ever since NES was appointed to gloss over what a mistake that was. Terrible season, terrible performances, and ownership decisions have taken us back down. What a golden opportunity for the future of our club thrown away. Anyway… we’ll smash Burnley and Sheff U...

    Matchday 34 - Everton v Nottingham Forest - „El Fiasco!“ - Sunday, 21st April KO 1:30pm

Don’t worry, sure we’ll beat Sheffield United and Burnley away [emoji23] At least we’re playing amazing football and much more possession, well worth it.
  9. Collymore!

    Matchday 34 - Everton v Nottingham Forest - „El Fiasco!“ - Sunday, 21st April KO 1:30pm

When I think back to the 0-0 with Palace, whilst it wasn’t much of a game, we really looked comfortable and assured in mid. Sangare had a decent enough game and looked untroubled, and generally much more solid. Same with a few other games around that time. I came away from that Palace game...

    Financial Fair Play (FFP)

Nah, nothing will happen to them. They could go into admin and the EPL would just review it next season.
  11. Collymore!

    Matchday 34 - Everton v Nottingham Forest - „El Fiasco!“ - Sunday, 21st April KO 1:30pm

Away from home, lose. 1-0 Everton, Doucouré goal coming from an individual error.

    Financial Fair Play (FFP)

We should have just lied in our FFP accounts. By the time our legal accounts had been published, or the EPL had finished scrutinising them, we'd have scrouged another season in the EPL. This whole thing is utterly insane. Our real problem is that we haven't had enough bastards in off-field...

    The Relegation Dogshite 23/24

I’d say “this’ll be easy lads. Lots of people think we’ll beat Everton, Sheff U and Burnley away, and although we’ve only won three away games in two years, you’ll smash ‘em”
  14. Collymore!

    The Relegation Dogshite 23/24

Think there’s too much pressure on us to get wins away at Sheff U/Burnley, we just haven’t got it in us this season I fear.
  15. Collymore!

    The Relegation Dogshite 23/24

Taiwo going to make an appearance? I’d rather sub on a 12% fit Taiwo over our current striking options.
  16. Collymore!

    The Relegation Dogshite 23/24

Another bad weekend for us. Brentford and Palace safe. Everton with two games in hand. As we probably knew it’s between us and Luton for that third spot. Grim. Forest - Everton (A), City (H), Sheff U (A), Chelsea (H), Burnley (A). Luton - Brentford (H), Wolves (A), Everton (H), Weat Ham (A)...
  17. Collymore!

    Danilo dos Santos de Oliveira

We’re a better team with Danilo. Such a shame that a midfield of Sangare and Danilo hasn’t materialised. Fancy him to get a couple more goals before the season ends, sadly we’ll be conceding two or three a game though.
  18. Collymore!

Ryan James Yates (sponsored by Raymondo Ponté)

Yates deserves his place for how much he gives for our club. Shame others who have potentially more natural talent, don’t have an ounce of his passion/care/determination. Sangare really messed the season/progression up in my eyes. The club clearly identified that we needed more in centre mid...

Matchday 33 - Nottingham Forest v Wolverhampton Wanderers. Saturday, 13th April KO 3:00pm

An unpopular opinion, but I would argue that some of our defensive frailties and set-piece woes are down to having two very young and inexperienced centre backs. Bombing Niakate was a bad move by NES.
